Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pittsburgh Airport

Entering the hotel, the front and elevator doors were pretty warn with scratches and paint deterioration. Not a welcoming sight upon arrival. We were given a room on the third floor (321.) The room smelled musty and the loud a/c blew cold air the smelled of cat urine. When I returned to the desk to report the concerns, the clerk apologized and gave us another room on the second floor (215) that was better and the newer a/c unit worked well and didn't emit a foul oder. The room, bed and bathroom appeared clean but the hotel appears to be warm and in need of updating. Breakfast was very limited as there were no protein options and no fruit options beyond apples. There was also a distinct marijuana smell in the hallways and elevator each time we entered or exited the hotel. At 10:00 pm on our third night, we heard periodic banging from an unknown source that lasted a good 1/2 hour. Overall, the staff were very polite and welcoming. I hope the hotel is planning additional upgrades to the interior of the building rather than just a new roof that was in process of being installed. Overall, it was an ok stay. Not great, not good. To be honest, I would pay a bit more money to stay in a nicer hotel.

Pretty nice for the price.

It is a nice hotel but it"s really old. Old rooms, hallways, door, and elevator. The lobby and pool are nice. The front desk agents were nice but there's a couple things that they did tell me when I called beforehand to ask questions while booking my flight there. Straight out lied. That upset me so if you want to stay there make sure you talk to the manager or someone higher up to get true answers. That upset me!

Rooms were small but everything else was excellent

Room was dirty. I ended up leaving and did not stay.

The first room we were given the bathroom was locked. When opened and toilet flushed it almost overflowed from human waste. When told staff they were "nonchalant" about it, never apologized. Gave us another room. The second room's toilet was still dirty around it and the tube enclosure was cracked and the faucet was loose. This is like a third world hotel. Cannot believe they remain in business. Lesson learned, is you get what you pay for. Wyndam should reject their franchise as they are clearly not compliant with the quality standards I have to presume.

The bathrooms were very gross. The exhaust fan was really loud. It smelled like weed all around the property. It just didnt feel clean.

Rooms were very comfortable and pretty clean. The issue we had was the airport transport and parking. We were not told we would have to pay $30 to park there during our trip. Also the shuttle fee was $10/ person( group of 5 made it an additional $40. They really need to specify that on Hotels. Com

Its eas very clean the female staff member working the morning we checkednout was very sweet and very helpful

The hotel couldn’t find my reservation and made us book another room. The charge was higher than I paid from the third party.

This hotel was not worth the money I paid. I had to pay for the airport shuttle. The shuttle that they used was disgusting. I didn’t feel safe. I would never stay here again.

Staff was rude and the building often smelled of weed, even in non-smoking rooms. It serves it’s purpose as a motel, bed and bathroom. Nothing memorable, but nothing horrible. Breakfast consisted of bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, and a waffle maker for those wondering.

Overall it was good.

Someone moved into upstairs at night, and the heavy walking steps and the sound of the bed made really big noise.

Good hotel, friendly service!

Everything was good and as expected. Restaurants and a target nearby to get some food or any belongings you forgot to pack. I’d stay here again if in the area.
