Motel 6 Louisville, KY - Airport - Fair Expo

the first room they gave us smelled like a skunk had sprayed it but when I went back and told them, they did give us another room. the beds were comfortable and it was close to the Expo Center where we were attending the farm show. The bathtub was nasty, they had a mat down and pulled it up which pulled up the enamel which made it slick and dangerous on your feet, cut the bottom of mine. asked for a mat to put down, never got one. Shower did not work properly and no water pressure.Black out curtains had holes in them. Floor was uneven and popping up, floor was dirty. Refrigertor and TV did work. no coffee in lobby, microwave was with ice machine. Only allowed 2 towels and 1 washcloth for 3 adults and 2 children. Nasty black spots on ceiling,heater worked but was noisy. two of the clerks were friendly. booked thru Hotels.com and had to come home early due to weather. took 2 calls to them before I got a refund. walls are very thin, can hear neighbors and every car that comes in the driveway. asked for clear sheets after 3 days since my husband got some blood on the pillowcase and sheet but all they did was make the bed up with the same sheets.Very hard to understand with their accents.glad we had a smoke alarm but it is mounted over the bed and has a very bright constant flash every few seconds.

The property was nice the staff just really wasn't trying to help out on anything if you need to change for the laundromat they don't have it no coffee pot no microwave if you try to extend your reservation they wanted to check back out and then check back in under new reservations it was just a hassle I would have stayed longer for another 3 days but they just weren't willing to like fit me in another couple days just really not worth the headache

The person at the counter tried to charge me a deposit in order to book and told me that it would be 5 business days to get my deposit back. That is a clear indication that it is a seedy motel that should be avoided. I could tell that it was a seedy motel the moment I pulled up on to the property.

Neighbors were loud late into night/early morning. Pillows were lumpy. Didn’t feel particularly safe.

The staff and rooms here were wonderful, so ki d and attentive!! Rooms were clean and well taken care of, the area is a little sketch, but it was a good stay.

First room had no working air they moved us to another room but noise from 2 dogs kept us awake all night had to find other lodging. We had booked for 2 nights but were unable to stay for the second. Told by clerk that they would not refund the second nights fee

Housekeeping needs a refresher course in cleaning.

They require a deposit. I was told $50 on card or $100 cash. Ran down, needs major overhaul. Didn’t even have a microwave in the room, had to go to vending area to use one. Vending area was disgusting there were bugs on wall. Garbage was left in the room and floors looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Pictures are deceiving. Trust me, don’t stay here. It was disgusting.

Bed sheets not clean. Bathroom and sink dirty.

The room was close to the airport and easy to get to.

The room was not clean. They made the beds but there was blood spots on covers along with cigg holes. Bathroom still has last persons dirty linens. Fridge also had old food in it . Hair everywhere. Needles in the parking lot and lots of activity felt unsafe.

Front desk guy was very inappropriate.

The worst place I have ever stayed in my life. Super dirty and with the worst atmosphere in the world.

Outlets in room didn’t work, lights were blown out, A/C wouldn’t stay on, smelled very bad, fire alarm light flashed all night

The staff was very friendly during my stay, the only negatives I had were the conditions of the room and the area surrounding. There is an abandoned building behind the hotel which can cause some concern, not sure who can be contacted about it but I didn’t have any issues while I was there. The room had some paint peeling off the walls and random marks. The bed sheets had burn holes and nail polish stains. It can be a bit noisy with the other people staying nearby but overall a nice stay for cheap!

nice room but black mold in bathroom on ceiling and tiles. VERY noisy, sketchy place overall. If a run down trailer park had a hotel this place would be it.

It was ok the walls are so thin you hear the tv from the room next to you all night so close to the airport you hear planes all night and then the fire alarm went off at 3 in the morning for no reason
