Cute motel. Great staff!

Very disappointed. This property states that the seasonal pool is open from April through September. I booked this hotel specifically for the pool, hot tub, spa amenity. I showed up the first weekend in May and the pool and hot tub were definitely shut down and looked really gross. Not even close to being open. Not happy with this as it states they would be open but at least there was the sauna. But their sauna isn’t actually hot. You have to turn it on yourself and the staff said it takes 10 min to warm up. When I waited 10 min for it to warm up, turns out there was a breaker issue. So we tried again. Waited another 10 minutes and went in and it was not warm. Took almost a full hour to warm up and wasn’t even hot at that hour but it only stays on for an hr. I mean, it was better than nothing but not what you would expect out of a working sauna. The rooms are okay at best. The front desk staff was really nice and you could tell he felt bad, but you could also tell he deals with this every day and has to pretend like he’s clueless that the website states the pool should be open but I can tell he actually knew. Very frustrating. There was no offer to make up for the shortcomings except an apology and kindness. Which is better than being rude I suppose, but I wish they did more to make up for it like offer a stay another time for free (or discount) or upgrade your room. Or something. I don’t think there are room upgrades here though. The website pics are deceiving. its a no 4me.

5 stars for the staff who checked us in. Friendly and helpful. 5 stars for a clean bathroom and clean comfortable bedding. If you're looking for a place to sleep at night it's great. I wouldn't give it 5 stars because of the barking dog in the room below us, and a couple of things that for one night doesn't matter. I would stay again a night when traveling through.

Motolodge is a cute motor lodge near downtown Pendleton. The location is awesome for visiting different bars/restaurants. The service from Chelsea at the front desk was great. The walls do not block out noise but even with that we would stay here again.

It's a newly renovated motel. Nicely redone. Clean and cute. Road in front is noisy. I wondered if our window was open! But staff very kind and accommodating

We had a great stay. You can hear road noise so if a light sleeper bring ear plugs. Super great staff, room was clean and had all we needed and love that you can walk easily to places. They have a sauna which is cool and a seasonal pool and hot tub that wasn’t open. Super cute motel, great service and will stay again.

Great Staff, good value for the money.

It is an average hotel- clean, but rundown. Not enough parking. Hotel clerks are nice.

Clean facilities. Quiet neighborhood. Friendly staff. It was easy to extend my stay; no need to vacate my room. Parking lot does not have enough places for all guests if fully booked.

Clean (dark accent wall was a little dusty). Remodeled and newer. The bed frame is a toe getter, so watch out. The shower was very small and we aren’t big people. The floors were squeaky and the walls are thin, you can hear your neighbors and the ones above walking. The good, the bed was very comfy and sheets were so soft and very nice for a hotel. Bathroom was clean and the space is decorated nicely.

The room was no frills the bathroom was poor Reno. The bed was decent but very low to the floor. The pillows were not comfortable. The staff was very nice. The tv was set up by a ultra liberal because you couldn’t program in any conservative news channels. The ratings had it at 9 “wonderful” but I rate it at a 6 “decent” rating. Motel 6 level at a little more money.

Stayed here before and it was great. This time we had switch room at 10pm because the room below was having a party, a loud party. Not ideal but the new room was quiet.

First time staying at the Motolodge and it was delightful! Rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Amenities were high quality and the staff were very friendly and down to earth! We were happy to have had the chance to meet some very nice local people who keep the Motolodge in tiptop shape. We will definitely stay here again!

Sweet motel with kind staff! Reminds me of the Rosebud Motel on Schitt’s Creek - older facility with some cute and era appropriate upgrades. Nothing fancy, you get what you pay for. More attention could be paid to housekeeping. Noticeable dust on trim, in bathroom, and on the light fixture. Only 2 bath towels even though we have 4 guests. Perfect for a one night stay while on a road trip!

Extremely clean and pleasant. Room was modern and well appointed. Staff was accommodating, helpful and friendly. Quiet location and comfortable bed. Smart streaming tv is a plus.
