Oceanfront Inn II

There is a strong smell from the inlet. So strong that we had to check out early. The view from the balcony was beautiful but the odor made it difficult to enjoy our stay. We had to go down the beach a ways to enjoy the beach despite having beach access from the property due to the inlet being dirty with debris.

Had such a good time on our staycation here.

Very comfortable accommodations! Pet friendly, clean and great location on the beach. They have one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in for a hotel. I would highly recommend for a very tropical experience. The restaurant has delicious food. The beach is beautiful!

The view, the atmospheric, the whole area

Room 1 is not a part of the Oceanfront Hotel. It is a glorified garage building in a parking lot on the side of a noisy highway. Lots of BASS and lout mufflers. People walking by at all hours talking loudly. Air conditioner in room was so loud and needs replacement. People smoking dope right at the beach bar stinking up the whole place. Someone broke into our car overnight. We checked out 2 days early. What a complete dump! This building should be used for storage only.

Stayed on the island 3 years ago and passed this place. Let me tell ya what they’ve done. New owners took over the restaurant and bar made it into what you see now. Great access to a white sand beach with a dune bar. Great service and food. Room service everyday don’t really need to go elsewhere but there’s plenty to do down here. Great for adults

It was perfect for what I needed for this short trip. The bar downstairs wasn’t a problem for me at all. They shut things down early enough for me to not have any issues with the noise.

We stayed with our pups and we enjoyed every minute of it. We celebrated my birthday. The hotel has a Very nice ocean view and a very good restaurant. The food was excellent! They even had food for our pups! Room was comfortable and clean. And the best part is that it is by the beach! Very nice stay!

It was very loud, with music going on until 11 p.m. You can hear everything going on in the rooms around you, people just walking and opening doors. There were cigarette burn marks around the bathtub and sink. The room felt damp and smelled a bit of mildew. It's a great location for someone who wants to just party, drink, and pass out.

Location is the best. You can walk to a handful restaurants very convenient

Everyone super friendly and helpful

The room we received was not what we were told it was going to be. It was not oceanview and was very small with limited furnishings. No where to put suitcases, dirty microwave, dirty bathroom floor, no light outside the door to allow visibility of putting in door code, soap was so small you could use it only once, restaurant right below the room with band playing and customer noise. Positives were comfortable bed, accommodating and pleasant room servicers, new fixtures in bathroom, closet with hanging space and shelves, close to beach, great restaurant next door. After complaining to the management a couple days and sending them a copy of what we were told our accommodations were supposed to be like, plus having a leak from the bathroom upstairs into our bathroom, we were moved to a much nicer room with a balcony and ocean view for the remaining two days of our five night stay. Be careful regarding the advertisements of this property. If you want a room with an ocean view, a balcony and a more comfortable living space, only reserve the rooms with numbers designated in the 20's.

I came here to drink, eat and listen to good music by the ocean. Thats exactly what i did. 10/10. Not a place for light sleepers though. Which is why i always bring my headphones. I will be returning.

Location and close to resturants free uber by the city was a plus

The online photos are so beautiful, the reality was so different. We pre-booked for 3 nights. The room was very run down but what gave the poor review is that the room reeked of urine. I thought if I laid under the covers I could overcome it but the bed smelled like urine as well. We arrived very late and was given the room code prior to arriving. Very efficient but it gave us a sense of fear since there was no chain lock to secure us in. Anyone with the code could come in. Because we got in so late it left us without an option to finding another place, so we stayed that one night. We looked to speak to someone the next morning but no one was there. We left but called shortly afterwards and asked for the manager to give us a call back without a reply. It was quite an experience.

Stay was nice except people above us made a lot of noise after12 on friday moving furniture around and maybe playing ball with a dog

If you like loud music from 10 AM to 10 PM, then this is the place for you
