Old Faithful Inn - Inside the Park

Can’t wait to go back!

The famous Old Faithful Lodge is expensive but is worth the cost. In terms of room condition，it is not the best national park hotel I have ever stayed. But it has the most unique style and the best view.

No wifi, no ac, limited food options in the restaurant. In principle, excellent location but no more than that.

The property was more rustic than I thought it would be. Staff was very cordial.

Old historical site. Poor

It was very nice and love how it felt to be in such a historic place.

Don’t fall for the hype! Total disappointment. We stayed at the Old Faithful Inn thinking it would be a charming, historic experience... but it felt more like a tourist trap than a hotel. The place is OLD, not in a charming way, but in a dirty, crowded, outdated way. The room had no TV, no AC, no mini fridge, no comfort whatsoever, and we paid a high price for it. Everything looks and feels worn out. The restaurant is always packed, the staff seems overwhelmed, and the entire atmosphere is dark and depressing. Even my husband, who usually doesn’t complain, hated it. For the price, you can stay outside the park and get real comfort, cleanliness, and better service. ⚠️ Pro tip: walk into the lobby, take your picture, and leave. Don’t waste your money staying here. You deserve better.

The location is superb and the staff abundant and helpful. The rooms are small and decrepit.

Great experience. Really enjoyed the music at night. Perfect location. Special building.

Great to be so close to Old Faithful

Excellent staff, very helpful and cant wait to go back

We checked-in early but room was not available and was told to come back at check-in time (4 PM). At 4 PM they were all confused as we had checked in early and could not find out keys. Were then told they were still cleaning the room and were told to wait further but we had our luggage and dinner reservations at 5 PM. We finally received keys after 2 hrs after dinner. We were not the only ones waiting a long time for a room.

Nice as usual!

Great food and tons of great hiking trails in the area. Grab a drink for sunset on the second story bar patio and watch Old Faithful go off before your dinner. Amazing hotel and highly recommend!

Beautiful location.

Definitely a very cool place! Our room was very clean. Not very many places to eat and the few they had always had extremely long waits, even for 2 people.
