Stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort for friends' wedding at Dukes.
Staff were great at checkin, had to wait for room cleaning, but still able to check in before 3:00pm.
We got a third floor ocean view room, ocean view is a must for hawaii, saw surfers at dawn in the waters every morning.
Did not receive any upgrades, nor the expedia $100 credit for the stay.
Room cleaning staff was on top of things, especially reggie. Thanks reggie.
Right across from the international market place shopping center. Had great breakfast options there.
Got a souvenir shirt at Tori Richards. Had wedding reception on the beach at Dukes. and off course, had to shop at ABC for souvenirs.
Had a wonderful time, the hotel is great. would stay here again. wondering when they will update the hotel like the outrigger reef.

The location is the best!!! Beach!!! If you go 2 hotels to the lest - there is no beach, 5 hotels to the right - the beach is too shallow and quiet, good for little kids only and people who can not swim. The location of Outrigger Beach Resort is PERFECT!!!

The property is pretty tired, and the pool is nothing to write home about (very small). Limited seating around it, and only a few chairs offered shade, which was a little frustrating. You could get chairs with an umbrella on the beach, but there was an extra charge for that. I was disappointed with the service around the pool as well, I flagged down a server who said she would be with me in a couple minutes - 25 minutes later...still no server - so we ordered food elsewhere. Not a huge deal, just disappointing.
Parking is atrocious. $60 a night, plus taxes - absolutely insane. Then there is a daily resort fee on top of that. For how tired this hotel is, the additional $110+ per day for parking and the resort fee was rough.
The elevators are a nightmare - especially around busier times of day. They don't come when they say they are, completely full and you can't fit on them, tells you one elevator when really it's another, multiple calls to get an elevator - it was annoying. At one point, I waited almost 15 minutes for an elevator.
The pros: Dukes was great! Their Mango BBQ Burger was one of the best we have had in a long time. The fish tacos were fantastic as well. Drink prices are pretty average for Waikiki $17 or so a piece.
The view from our room was beautiful as well, and the room size itself was nice and large. However, the bed was quite uncomfortable and you could feel any tiny movement your partner made while sleeping.
The location of the hotel is great!

Hotel is fine. Hasn’t been updated in a while. Pool and beach are are small and crowded. Good location for walking around Waikiki. Outrigger REEF is much nicer and actually where we thought our reservation was. Be careful of multiple Outriggers

Great location on the beach and large rooms with plenty of space and even a closet. Unfortunately my “city view” was of the hotel air conditioner and next to the ice machine. So noisy and in desperate need of renovation.
