Great property. Have never stayed at a bad PaliHotel. Super layer back classy great gatsby vibe. Really nice bar they just opened

Really enjoyed the hotel

I loved the elevator and this history of the building, the morning was a little noisy, but they provide earplugs. Overall, great location and I felt safe, would stay again.

they charged me 4 times on my credit card without authorisation or an itemised bill on checkout. I have sent and email and am awaiting a response

Totally adorable design based hotel. Really lovely restaurant and bar and a very good value for money. Would stay here again.

They overbooked and gave our room to someone else. They did arrange for us to stay across the street but we were still very disappointed as I’ve stayed at Palihotel several times with my sister and was looking forward to staying there with my daughter.

The Maritime bar and restaurant upstairs was definitely a plus. The owners were absolutely delightful!!!

Close to Chinatown restaurants is a big plus.

wifi was not working the entire duration and packages that were sent to the hotel were signed off by the front desk but misplaced.

We arrived at the hotel for our check-in and they advised us that they didn’t have our room available, but they would downgrade us at this point. It was almost midnight. We were exhausted and we didn’t want the tiny downgrade room. The man at the front desk was awful and clueless. He did get his manager on the phone. She was trying to be more helpful, but I guess the man at the front desk gave away our room to someone else.. we left not sure where to go wasted money on parking, let alone now we ass in a really sketch area in SF. They are supposed to be refunding us so we are still currently waiting for that

Good enough. Location isn't bad, close to Chinatown, North Beach and Union Square. Very nicely decorated. Not a good option if you need to work remotely, as the wi-fi did not work the whole time I was there and the only other spot to sit aside from the bed is a tiny table and chairs. The elevator was very old and I was nervous using it but it seemed to hold up fine. Some issues with toilet plumbing and being able to flush, but shower water was hot and good pressure. Sink is very small. They had free water fill up in the lobby but noticed it was removed later into the night. Provided good assortment of snacks and drinks in the room for an extra charge, but not a lot of other free options. Be mindful if you need to use the restroom before check in, the lobby bathroom is through the back employee kitchen which seemed sketchy at first. VERY LOUD. You can hear everyone in the hallways and late night construction in the city. They provide ear plugs which was my saving grace. Overall, good for a cheaper solo travel option

Having parking was very convenient! Parking is across the hotel and there is a fee. Staff was so friendly!! Very cute hotel. Very happy with our stay!

They forget to clean the room, elevator did not work,the pictures looks much better than real life!

The staff was very polite and the hotel itself was gorgeous. I stayed for a quick weekend and It was close to a lot of beautiful sightseeing areas and Chinatown which had a large variety of art and food! Would definitely recommend!

Palihotel has a cool European vibe, and the location is great—just around the corner from Union Square, making it convenient for exploring downtown. The rooms had a nice aesthetic, but the showers felt a bit dated and worn. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match the stylish atmosphere. While the staff was friendly, they seemed out of touch with true customer service. The elevator was broken during our stay, meaning we had to walk up and down five flights of stairs. While that wasn’t a huge issue in itself, the hotel never offered any sort of accommodation for the inconvenience. Instead, we were repeatedly told it would be fixed “tomorrow,” but it felt like an ongoing issue. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible stay, but it didn’t stand out either. With so many other hotels to choose from in the area, I’d probably try somewhere else next time.
