Palm Canyon Hotel & RV Resort

The hotel has a Wild West facade on the front the the hotels. We arrived late so never interacted with a person but they are very responsive via text so not a problem. The hotel is old but for the most part clean. Simple accommodations as expected in an RV park. Decent stop but price seems high for the facilities.

I specifically reserved a balcony room to set up my telescope. The only balcony option was a king so I paid extra to also have a rollaway bed. We arrived after hours to find our room on the first floor. I was told the issue must have been through hotels.com then realized on the map to the room the balcony room was crossed out and changed to the first floor. Understandably someone probably didn’t want to haul the rollaway upstairs. I could have booked two queens for the same price as the king and saved the rollaway fee. :-( The room was very nice with a small patio, mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and refillable shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers for eco friendliness. The room also had pool towels, nice touch! I like this hotel, have here before and will stay again knowing to go alone for a balcony or book two queens. It appeared only three rooms were occupied in our building so unsure why a couple was placed in the room above us; it would have been appreciated to have the room above empty given the available rooms and not receiving what was purchased. And I didn’t receive whatever gift card was offered in the promotion. The motif is a cute old western town, very fun! They also have airstreams which I enjoyed staying in last year. Great night sky viewing! A definite recommend, just clarify your goal to the staff, if they had told me they couldn’t take a rollaway upstairs I would have booked the two queens and left the telescope home.

Room is nice and beautiful with horn head decor. Swimming pool is warm with nice hot jacuzzi. See lots of beautiful animals thru the windows. Wish to get balcony room. I didn’t get the gift card as written thru Expedia booking. There’s a coffee maker but no coffee packaging in the room.

Friendly staff and easy check in. Super clean room and easy parking. Dog friendly hotel.

Such a cute hotel, with a reasonable price and unexpectedly large room! Although outside temps were typical summer desert, room was comfortably cool even upon first entering. Good communication from friendly staff was helpful for our late arrival. Perfect pet-friendly place to rest for our stargazing trip with our dog.

Very quiet and peaceful but it was hot outside like 110.

It was a bit noise, the ac were loud and the wall in the room I stayed in is also thin. I can hear folks next door.

We had a relaxing long weekend. It was great being able to bring our dog. Quiet and Pleasant atmosphere. Stairs could use some attention.

We really wanted to like this place as we go to Borrego Springs quite often. The a/c units (our room and surrounding rooms) were literally the noisiest I've ever experienced. We estimate that we slept about an hour in 10 minute increments. If the a/c wasn't on, then there was a constant tapping on the roof (never figured out what that was) but then if it wasn't that, then the refrigerator was making noise. It was unbelievable. At one point, I just started laughing at how ridiculous our night was. Thank goodness it was only one night. Also, no response from the hotel when told of the issues (after check-out).

Amazing resort with 2 pools & Hot tubs to enjoy w/out the hassle of people around you . I Love 💞 the solitude this resort gives you especially during off season . The Desert area was extremely hot and our rooms had excellent a/c units and comfy bed and big bathroom. Pet friendly and resort was manicured beautifully. I suggest you bring a cooler with drinks and food because resteraunt at resort was closed .
