Property is trying to update but very poor job. Fresh paint over unfix issues in the room and bathroom. bed and sheets were good. AC in hotel is set on high with high humidity, some areas are being updated, other areas are old and dirty. Cheap price for a quick night stay.

It was pretty run down, they charged extra for the complimentary breakfast. There was almost no food at the breakfast. Our stay was 3 nights, housekeeper never came. if you want fresh towels you have to go to the front desk for them.

This hotel should be condemned. There was extensive water damage in the room; ceilings, walls, flooring. The coat rack was falling off wall. No fire alarm. Since it was no refundable, we stayed but was the worse conditions I’ve stayed at.. never again.

Room had no shower rod or shower curtain, there was a dead rodent on the carpet outside our doorway and the pool was out of commission with no access. Very severe false advertisement.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at the Quality Inn in Ruther Glen was so appalling that I feel obligated to share. I had booked two rooms for two nights, but after one terrible night, we checked out early. First, we encountered rats in the room — not once, but twice. I was shocked to see them scurrying around. On top of that, the towels were filthy, and the floors were dirty. It was clear that the room had not been properly cleaned. The room had a lingering unpleasant odor that I could tolerate, but the staff was a whole other issue. When we asked to be moved to a different room due to the rat issue, we were told to come back later after check-out time to see available rooms. I did just that, only to find no one at the front desk. After ringing the bell, a woman came down from another motel room— presumably someone involved with the property. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. She claimed they had already given us keys to a new room, which was a complete lie, and then told us they couldn’t accommodate us. When I pressed further, she rudely told us to stop talking, shushed us with her finger, and coldly stated, “I’m going to check you out.” Out of respect to her as a woman, I didn’t escalate the situation and simply agreed to check out. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. I am extremely disappointed and will never stay here again. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

Property was very rundown and bathroom and linen were dirty. Entire place smelled bad. We left without staying there and went to another hotel. Unf, we did not get a refund. The manager did sound ready to help but we didnt think another room wud be better because the smell ws all over.

The customer service here was the worst. Check in was the worst the guy was rude he said he don’t care if you stay or go he ran off two customers he said his name was PETER PAN such a a$$ Just the worst customer service ever I will report him to a higher person he said he can’t be touch because it’s a private own business I would never stay here again and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone I never felt so disrespected Everything about this hotel was so bad

The ceiling was literally falling down in our one room, the other room had the cost rack hanging off the wall, the toilet lever was broken, there was exposed wires poorly hidden, holes in the walls from makeshift wiring, it smelled bad, the list is endless. I’ve never seen a hotel in such poor condition.

For some reason I was booked a handicap room and when I arrived, they charged an additional $10 dollars and change to change it to a standard room. Room must have been the worst in the hotel. It was dirty, has foul odor and just not well maintained. If I wasn’t tired, I would have went elsewhere.

Bathroom ceiling was falling, bathtub stained yellow, someone was at my door because the same room was given to them. I don’t think the place is up to be running; too many handyman issues over all and very dirty. The attendant tried to give us another room but it was in worse than my original one. I did not sleep that night!
