Staff were helpful and accommodating. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Towels were a bit thin. Breakfast was good enough but it was not changed during our stay. Conveniently located for us to Barber raceway. Would stay here again.

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.
We were concerned about all of the noise from the busy highway it located on. But in our rooms we never heard any traffic, we were also towards the back of the building. The children loved the pool! For a hotel the shower was very nice, the pressure was excellent and they had plenty of hot water. The bad part of the shower was it was a walk in so the floor got soaked every time you used it. The beds were a little high off the floor but once you got in they were very comfortable. We had a tornado watch during our stay, therefore everyone was in their rooms and the wifi couldn't support all the usage. Other than that we didn't have any wifi issues. They had a nice selection for breakfast, but you had to get there early or there wasn't enough seats. Overall it's a clean, and nice place to stay. If we're ever in the area we plan on staying there again.

This place is a gem for the price we paid. The king bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. My only complaint was the requirement to pay a $100 security deposit, which was returned the next morning because we happened to have enough cash; otherwise, we'd have to use our credit card and wait days (a week?) for the charges to be reversed.

The staff were nice and the room was clean. I've stayed in this hotel approx 4 times over the last 2-3 yrs and the only complaint I ever have, and should have brought this up sooner, is the pillows. They flatten and for me, that makes for a miserable night. My brother had the same complaint. Upgrade the pillows and I'll be happy to stay there during every trhip to B,ham.

The entire property is very run down and not well maintained.
We had a storm the second night, and our window in the room started flooding water everywhere.
You can find areas where its just dirty, or where it just hasnt been maintained in so long its falling apart.

This property was very poor in quality. It smelled and you could tell they used fragrances and air freshners to make it smell better but it didn’t help. The room above us kept us up majority of the night and we had to contact the front desk to ask for assistance in keeping them quiet. The breakfast was very subpar as well. Wasn’t the greatest experience. I’ll definitely book with Airbnb next time.

It was a good stay. They set us up in a handicap accessible room. Overall the room was fine. However the room was a little cramped. Hard for movement with a walker. If we had to use a wheelchair, it would have been impossible.

This hotel looks great on paper, but is surrounded by sketchyness. We arrived around 8:00 PM and there were multiple cars idling in the parking lot with people in them for no apparent reason. The entire first floor common-area smelled like weed. As I walked into the reception area a person walked out to meet a cop that pulled into the parking lot behind us to report some sort of event that had just happened on the property. Based on my limited observations of the clientele, the hotel appeared to be a preferred choice for transient workers. With all that being said, the staff were friendly and reasonable, and the facility wasn't horrifically derelict or unclean. Maybe I just stayed there on a weird night, but I wouldn't stay there again. Spend $15.00 more for a better place,,, there's plenty of other options in that area.

This was my second stay at this property! The first was just after covid so things were a little different than this visit! There was a lobby full of people when I arrived but the receptionist handled the situation quickly and efficiently even with a language barrier! I had checked in online so I just had to parent my id for verification!
The room was clean and the bed was amazing! The shower curtain could have been a little bit longer and the towels a little thicker! The usb ports didn’t work on one of the lamps beside the bed but the outlet did work!
Breakfast was pretty good with some variety but could have had more bread and cereal choices! Also the frozen butter and almost frozen jelly were hard to consume!
