Kind and friendly staff. The pool was dug up and I wish that had been mentioned because my nine year old was disappointed but the front desk clerk gave him a cookie and was very kind. No working elevators so I was glad we didn’t have a ton of luggage but the next morning when our room keys weren’t working after we came up from breakfast my little boy and I had to make many trips down stairs to try and get the keys to work again. Front desk was able to make one key work and we were happy to be back in our room as the lobby is very very warm. Large, clean, and comfy beds. My son appreciated the WiFi and the tv channel guide as we are not from the area and we don’t know what to watch. Breakfast was great. Too warm in the room but the food was tasty and there were quite a few options. I would stay here again but with little luggage and no expectations of swimming. For the price it was a good pick! We needed something last minute and only for one night so it worked out fine.

Front desk Mike and Alicia both very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was ok. Scrambled eggs (chopped too fine). , link sausage, waffles, bagels , toast, 4 cereals. Good coffee. Cappuccino machine, but I already had my coffee when I discovered it. Juice machine. Apples were pretty beat up. Cook/ attendant should probably pay more attention to wiping off tables and trash inconsiderate guests left behind. Hotel fixtures are definitely old. Room basically clean, but corners could use attention. My tub bottom was delaminating where you would stand for a shower, and soft underfoot. Cracks in the material, so probably leaking to the floor below. Wasn’t comfortable with the idea of soaking in the tub as this area probably collects debris that can’t really be cleaned. Very nice fridge; was cold when I got there. Pool and hot tub nice temps, but could be a bit cleaner. Hotel definitely needs a refresh, but I will stay here again. Again, front desk is outstanding! Red Mesa Grille, walking distance, has great Mexican food and margaritas

Insanely priced. Rundown and unattractive property. Mold on ceiling, extremely old and ugly fixtures, dirty breakfast room and horrible unhealthy options no protein items, overly aggressive housekeeping- my absolute PET PEEVE. Marriott NEVER does that which is why I’m their loyal customer and only stayed here out of desperation. Charged me a late fee to check out at 12 after already paying over $400 for this roach motel. No guide on the tv. Wall unit a/c. Just gross

The room itself was pretty clean and organized. The property had overgrown weeds and grass grown up all over the property. The parking lot had weeds overgrown covering walks. Breakfast was lacking due to breaking items “costing too much” according to the staff. This property could be very nice if some care was taken to clean the property.

The bed sheets are stained and crusty. It looks like blood stains and some crusty white stains. They stick together in the crusty parts. It’s disgusting. They told me I needed to switch rooms and then tried to up charge me. It was the only hotel that had a room available and cost me just under $500

Went to check in. It was 3:40, check in is at 4. They said that they had to waite until 4 to confirm that the room was ready. I don't believe this at all. I asked for housekeeping. They only offer that if you stay 3 or more nights, but we could make "arrangements " to meet with the garbage and fresh towels? Seriously, who does that? Breakfast ...no butter for toast or waffles? Both mornings sign said....no eggs or sausage served today, sorry. Yesterday no yogurt, today they had yogurt. This morning, after breakfast, our room key didn't work. Front desk promptly fixed it. After 8:30 am, your keys no longer work. Who does this?

We arrived at the Quality Inn in Traverse City about 2 hours early. While the rooms were ready, we were denied check in unless we paid an additional $40 fee. Who does that? We weren't alone with this experience. I don't see the harm or need to pay extra if the rooms are ready. It appeared that the Quality Inn didn't value our patronage, or didn't want (need) it. Poor customer service in my opinion. I am a Choice Hotels Member. Does this mean anything to this company? I was disappointed with Quality Inn's attitude, and will take my business elsewhere in the future.

Horrible customer service. Room was not ready at check in. Was told to come back later. Also was asked rudely for a $100 security deposit. I requested to speak with hotel management and was provided only an email address. They would not give me a phone number to call. They then canceled my reservation and told me to leave the property because I was now trespassing. Hotels.com was a great help and was able to get me a refund and I stayed elsewhere. I do not recommend this hotel to stay at. Avoid it at all costs.

The Quality Inn is a nice property, but needed to be cleaned outside. Our room had some problems when we went there like a light that didn't work and a plugged up toilet. We called the desk and they sent maintenance right away and the maintenance person took care of the problems. The toilet plugged up again the morning we left.

Cheap stay is nice. Room was fine except my smoke detector was hanging down and chirping. I diagnosed the issue and then put a 9v in it. For some reason it didn't have one. Then at 2am it began chirping again. They didn't not show up when they were supposed to, to replace. Then i came back and it was mostly fixed. Entry in my room without my permission. Also they charge $100 upfront even after room is booked. Lastly amenities pictures need to be updated. Overall i would give it a 3. Inexpensive, workers are friendly and room was clean, just don't expect to be catered to.

We got to the hotel two hours early and asked for an early check in. Our joining rooms were not ready and we were offered different rooms that were not joining and we declined because we wanted joining rooms. We let them know that we would be back after 4 pm the check in time. We returned at 6:35 pm to check in and our rooms were still not ready for check in. They went ahead and checked us in and gave us keys to our rooms and offered a I’m so sorry and nothing else. We would have paid the $45.00 early check in fee if our rooms would have been ready but we were offered nothing off with our rooms not being ready two and a half hours after check in time.
