Quiet Mind Mountain Lodge, Retreat and Spa

This place is an amazing location to come find peace of mind and discharge and disconnect from everything. The hot Jacuzzi outside overlooking the lake and mountains is very relaxing. Rooms are beautiful. Recommend getting the king size bed. Only recommendation is to be careful with your GPS because it will take you to the wrong spot. Use the address of the lodge, not the name. Once you are close enough you will see a fire station. One you are at the station make a right and then left on second street you see. You will be there in 2 minutes. Worst case scenario call the lodge or ask a fireman at the station.

Beautiful surroundings, peaceful place with lots of opportunities to unplug and relax. Cleanliness and comfort of the room could use more attention.

The only nice thing here is the hotel view and the size of the room. I didn’t really find any special beauty in this place.

I would recommend this hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and the atmosphere was very laid back and wellness-centric.

I loved the decor, nice comfortable bed and the breakfast offered. Parking is unpaved and unmarked with a truck obstructing the narrow way in a spot. I would have appreciated the disclosure of a bonafide statue of an idol in the ad, however. It made me uncomfortable.

Food was good. Everyone was nice. It’s a little hard to find in my opinion, they need a bigger or brighter sign at their entrance road. I got so lost trying to find it. It’s the dirt road before the Cal-Fire station. That’s where you see tiny rusted sign. Otherwise, good experience! I will be back!

It was absolutely beautiful and delightful. Yuny at reception was wonderful, warm and professional! We felt truly well taken care of! Highly recommend it!

Gorgeous room & quiet surroundings but i wish there was a clearly marked trail or walking path. I also feel registered guests should have free access to enjoy the lake area.

This place is a gem and I only wish we had more time to enjoy it. The whole vibe is peaceful and quiet and the views are amazing on the lake side of the property. Breakfast was very yummy and I will be back another time to fully enjoy this property. Everyone we encountered who worked there was amazing and very personable. My only suggestions are that it would be nice to be able to cover the light on the A/C unit as it's very bright, all night long. Otherwise, if you need complete darkness to sleep, I would bring a sleeping mask. And, being able to call and reach someone is preferable to me vs. texting with reservation questions.

Such a wonderful place to relax and chill out. My grumpy, crabby husband was peaceful to have around!

chose this place because it looked so beautiful in the pictures. I needed some time away from the city n it’s in a perfect area for that i thought: “wow what a beautiful heated pool!” Yeah it’s not a pool… it’s a hot tub! That you can get on Amazon. It has pretty led lights on the jets, but the Amazon ones do too. (Pros: great view of stars.)And then it was dirty! So I asked them to clean it, they said “sure we’ll get to it immediately”. But waited to get someone to clean it until the next night after I asked a fourth time? And when I finally did go in the worker living downstairs came to tell me it was late n to shut up. The workers are very rude I think they’re racist. Lady just ignored my small talk. And when I asked questions she pretended not to hear me or would respond minutes later? Idk if it’s because I’m young or because I’m Mexican, but it doesn’t matter what I am I’m going there to relax just like anybody else that’s what a retreat is for right? Or so I thought… the others that were staying there were very annoying. My room had a balcony with the view of the lake, and it’s very obvious it used to be just one big balcony, they’re literally just divided by a room divider, and you can hear everything (there’s signs that say no phone zone but everyone was talking on the phone very loud Nextdoor ). The breakfast n dinner options suck, worker rudely suggested I eat elsewhere. And room door was open every time I came out the bathroom or came in from balcony? Not a retreat

The staff is very personable and friendly. The place is really peaceful and I love the theme. I had a great time and I am planning to visit again soon. Thank you!

Wonderful; totally relaxing, quiet and great view of stars at night (dark sky registered). We could have used an additional day but our work prevented that. A wonderful surprise in a very secluded area of California.
