The staff is friendly and the room is nice. Unfortunately, they are under construction, so the elevator is not working.

The property was very nice. It is in the process of renovation so there were areas that weren’t exactly the way they should be, but that did not affect our stay. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The shower was clean perfectly good stay.

Upon arrival at 945 at night we had difficulty even finding the hotel because during renovation work, an underground power line had been cut which shut off power to all outside lighting. Only 1 elevator worked and only 1 ice machine out of 4 was working. We had to go down 2 floors for ice. Despite a 3 night stay, maid service not once emptied our trash, gave us clean towels or more toilet paper. On our 3rd morning there, the breakfast bar ran out of bacon/sausage at 830 am with 90 minutes to go in their breakfast service. My wife and daughter who have dietary restrictions were basically unable to have breakfast. The hotel texted me a couple hours before arriving and said if we had any questions or concerns to text them. I did but they did not answer the text. Thankfully the issue was resolved at the front desk when we arrived but if they had answered the text, it could have relieved some stress. One of my photos shows the smoke alarm in our room covered by a plastic bag. We wouldn't have been alerted to a fire. Is this even legal? Pool and hot tub were nice. Front desk guy first night was helpful and not picky about knowing our car info.

It’s a shame hotels.com doesn’t post on the website that a hotel is undergoing a full renovation. Makes me think I should try another travel site due to many instances of miss infornation.

The place was under remodel. Dust everywhere, no parking and loud all day. No table, phone or microwave in room. None of this info was available at booking. Should have stayed home.

The construction wasn’t good. The main level was beautiful but had appeal, felt dead. The bar wasn’t open and inviting, some live music, or any engaging music and warm cookies, complimentary arrival treats and the bar looking inhabited and functional would improve the ambiance tremendously

The staff was very good. The room was good. It was remodeled tastefully, clean, spacious. However, there were no glasses or cups in the room, nor were there hangers in the closet. There was a fridge, but no microwave.

Under construction. Elevator made lots of interesting noises. The toilet needed to be flushed over and over again to get the bowl emptied. Property needed tended to. Hot tub was murky

This is what I experienced: 1) No microwave in the room. 2) No room phone. 3) No hangers in the closet. 4) No coffee maker. 5) No functioning ice machine. It was unplugged and streaked with dirt sitting in the hallway under missing ceiling tiles. 6) No functioning A/C unit in my room. 7) No housekeeping for 4 nights. Had to take my trash to the front desk, & get new bags. Had to request new towels and take them to my room myself. 8) No convenient parking spaces. All spaces along the front of the building blocked off for construction. 9) Landscaping so overgrown with weeds, they brush you as you try to walk down the sidewalk. 10) Only one functioning elevator. It is covered with a hodge-podge of mismatched foam panels and a sign asking guests to excuse the construction "dust." Stairs blocked off for construction. 11) Charged $200 for potential incidental costs with a promise it would fall off if housekeeping inpected and approved. 12) Missing furniture in large empty corner of the room. 13) Deteriotating, dirty, streaked window with brown refuse between glass panes. 14) Large group of loud, drunk guests allowed to congregate and drink beer in the lobby for hours. 15) No response from hotel management when I attempted to bring these things to their attention and ask for help.

My wife and I stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Olympia for two nights over the weekend, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. The hotel was under heavy construction, which was not mentioned at the time of booking. Our bathroom had multiple issues — the toilet didn’t flush properly, and the shower had very low water pressure. To make matters worse, we didn’t receive any housekeeping service during our stay. The tile area around the swimming pool was visibly dirty and had black mold, raising serious health concerns. Perhaps most disruptive was the loud motorcycle gathering taking place right outside the front entrance, which continued throughout the night and made it nearly impossible to sleep. Overall, this was a terrible experience. I genuinely regret choosing this hotel and would not recommend it to others. Ramada needs to seriously improve both its facilities and guest services.

Nice welcome on arrival. However no coffee machine in room but guy at reception managed to locate one which worked for our 3 night stay. They were remodelling during our stay which was not advertised until we checked in. No microwave in room. Only 1 elevator working which appeared to be for the maintenance team and it showed. Room windows were dirty and in need of urgent maintenance. Poor condition of furniture in breakfast area. Very disappointed as expected higher standard from a Ramada property.

One of the Worst Hotel Experiences I've Ever Had – Avoid at All Costs I rarely write reviews, but this experience was so terrible that I feel obligated to warn others. We booked a week at this hotel expecting a relaxing stay, but ended up leaving after only two nights — and to make things worse, we were charged for the entire week. First of all, the hotel was under heavy construction, which we were never told about in advance. It was noisy, dusty, and completely chaotic — more like staying in the middle of a renovation zone than a hotel. Amenities were either shut down or nonexistent. To make matters worse, there were no elevators, and we were put on the 4th floor. Lugging our bags up and down multiple flights of stairs — through construction noise and debris — was exhausting and unacceptable, especially since this critical info was never disclosed. The staff was unhelpful and rude. When we voiced our concerns and said we wanted to leave early, they barely acknowledged us and showed zero willingness to make things right. No apology, no compensation, just a robotic “there’s nothing we can do.” Despite checking out early due to the miserable conditions, they still charged us for the full week. Their excuse? “It’s policy.” Well, your policy is awful, and so is your customer service. Do not stay here. This place should not even be open to guests in its current state. You deserve better — spend your money somewhere that actually values guests and provides what they promise.

Remodeling paint smell was thick, had to walk through constructions dust and mess as elevators were broken. Given a double double when I booked a double queen. Paint fumes were dizzying. No remodeling warning was provided either at the time of booking or the email 24-48 hours before check in. I made this reservation three and a half weeks prior and would have chosen a different accommodation, but did not want to switch and pay last minute prices.

Our room was excellent, employees friendly, the breakfast amazing. The problems were, first they are remolding (not said anywhere on the web site), the elevators weren't working, the TV in the room wasn't hooked up yet because of the remodel, the hot tub was down, no hangers in our room and no microwave. Would we stay here again, absolutely after the remodel is done!!

The front desk staff was very helpful. Though the room I reserved was not available due to renovations, they offered a solution that worked. (It would have really thrown a wrench in our plans if we had to find other accommodations on the same day, considering we made the reservation months earlier.) The breakfast was good. My kids enjoyed the pool. The exercise room needs some fixes - the Precor and treadmill were quite noisy. Once the renovations are done, other areas (such as the first floor and elevator) will also improve. Overall, it was a good stay, and the hotel is in a convenient area.

Thus hotel is under renovations, but they do not notify you if thus until you get there and see for yourself. The room we were put in had loud construction right outside our window, our ac unit also wasnt working. When we asked for a new room with working ac, we were told that due to construction, they had no idea which rooms wpuld be working and which were not. When i asked if they could check a few rooms for working ac, i was yold that they only have one house keeper therefor had only cleaned the bare minimum of rooms and there wasn't another clean one to offer. Also the maintenence man had left for the day and couldnt assist us with the ac.

Uncaring and unknowledgeable staff. They stopped caring about their place of business and their guests. Add to the fact the facility was under renovation and should have been closed for the duration of the work made this such a poor experience.
