The room was updated and clean and was really nice. Bed was really comfortable. Nice big tv and the shower has a large shower head and the temperature was good and the water pressure was good

There was a long line at the front desk to check in. The poor woman was very nice and apologized. Management needs more staff! The elevator was gross, filthy, like a stable. No fridge in the room. No breakfast. The shower and bed were good and the room seemed clean.

Only issue was the wifi was out so we were not able to get online. The McDonalds near by did have good wifi. They assured me they were working with their ISP to fix the issue.

The bad
Wifi was terrible so for an out of towner like myself with no data this really sucked. There was also no shampoo or body wash in the room so I had to buy some from Walmart. The outside of the hotel looks really outdated but this is the only bad thing I have to say about this hotel
The good
Great staff and 3 great options for food right across the street. Gas station across the street as well which is nice with the highway being so close. The inside of the room was really nice and updated. The a/c worked amazing. So cold the wife had to get into a blanket after coming inside from the deathly heat outside. Honestly for the great price and Location you can’t beat it. Definitely plan on staying there again next year.

Front desk lady was amazing. Felt sorry for her because she was alone without help but she handled it very well. Room smelled of fresh paint, fresh new linens, and overall remodeled. Check out the gyro food truck near the parking lot it’s amazing. Will for sure go back to this location.

This room was great! Even had the "new" smell. It was clear it was recently renovated. One of the best hotel showers I have had and the bed was comfy. No breakfast of any sort but had decent coffee.

They canceled my reservation and didn’t tell me. I booked 2 months in advance. I was there for an event at the Ohio state stadium. Got there right at check in and they told me they over booked and canceled my reservation. They failed to tell myself or Expedia the canceled my reservation. According to Expedia I still had a room. Every hotel in the area was full by that point.

The upgrades are very nice but maybe not well thought out? The room that I stayed in had obnoxious lighting Around the window allowing light to flood in my room around the curtains. I would stay again but would need another room.

I had to change rooms multiple times. They couldn't get the door to open on the first room and the air conditioning did not work in the second room. The area is fairly rough and it is not near the actual campus. I am not sure how it is a Red Roof plus...it is an a standard Red Roof Inn with doors to the outside. The Red Roof Inn plus by the convention center is very nice. The guy working the front desk was nice.

The property was under renovation.. the air condition in our room did not work room stayed 76°. They did not have another room to move us too. It was hot, miserable and loud.
