Very convenient location. Right by the interstate and there's a Cracker Barrel right next to it and a Wendy's about a block away. The visitor center is right by it too.

The pool was freezing. I took my kids there because of the pool but the heater was not working and the pool was freezing. Just got an apology, but it was a disappointment for my kids. Something should have been done.

Upon arrival, I was welcome and then a sign was placed in front of my face explaining how it was new policy that an additional $200 for deposit was required at the time of check-in, that was not included in the hotel policies or hotels.com where they're advertise policies. Then the room was supposed to have a fireplace and it absolutely did not the hotel was supposed to have an indoor pool which it did but was not working so we were allowed to use the hotel across the street swimming pool which was a major inconvenience with five children dead of winter too close to dry too and too cold to walk to never mind not having the ability to shower change or dry off and then return across the street to the hotel where our actual rooms were. Did I mention we had to bring our own towels from one hotel to the other because there were no towels or anything of the sort provided in an attempt to remedy this huge inconvenience and disappointment. There was no discount accommodation or genuine apology for the inconvenience and disappointment!

The room was fine good and nice although not cleaned after the first night. I did not like having to sign a 10 point check list about partying and guests plus paying a $200 deposit a night for a hotel of this quality. I pay less than that at a high end hotel. I did not like being told inconsistent information about my stay by different employees and the vibe was just off. I'm good, I won't be back.

My stay at this hotel was great until the front desk decided that they wanted to charge as the hours went by so originally my family started to check in at 2 o’clock on a Saturday. The first person was charged an additional hundred dollars for a security deposit the next person was charged $200 for a security deposit and the last person was charged $250 for a security deposit. I think this was a personal front desk decision not a corporate decision. We all question the fee and was told that this is how it’s done on the weekends even though we all pre-booked pre-reserved our rooms either with the hotel or with a third-party site. We paid the fee because we were coming from out of state, but it was a great inconvenience for some. We plan to call the corporate office on the next day to inquire about this fee that increased by the hour myself I stayed there the weekend prior and was only charged $100 that weekend for a damage fee, which was returned to my card after I checked out when I inquired about the fee change, she stated it must have been a new employee I asked her name and I told her no it was actually you to check me in last weekend you work nights And here is your information. She seem to be surprised and said I’m not sure what happened. I left it alone and went on to enjoy my family time at the hotel. Overall, the hotel was very clean and friendly. The pool was not that warm, but we still splashed around for a little while And then enjoy our stay.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed with several aspects of my experience. First, the pool was closed, which was not mentioned when booking. The biggest issue, however, was the lack of accessibility. The handicap door system was not working, making it extremely difficult to get in and out of the property with my cane and suitcase. Additionally, despite clearly using a walking cane, I was assigned a room that was the farthest from the front desk. When I asked if it was near the elevator, the front desk agent assured me it was—but that turned out to be untrue. My room was actually three hallways away, making it unnecessarily challenging for someone with mobility issues. The maintenance of the property also needs serious attention. My room had a door missing a screw, the utensil drawer wouldn’t even open, and when I was checking out, the deadbolt wouldn’t retract, leaving the door stuck open. I had to call the front desk to inform them that the room couldn’t be secured and that maintenance needed to address it immediately. Breakfast was very basic with limited variety, nothing impressive. Overall, the hotel has a lot of maintenance and service issues that need to be addressed. The front desk staff should be more attentive to guests’ needs, especially when it comes to accessibility. I travel frequently and stay at many hotels, and unfortunately, this one falls below expectations. I’m giving it an 1.5 out of 5, and that’s being generous.
