Residence Inn by Marriott Folsom Sacramento

Was trying to get away and work for a couple days. Ended up hanging out in room quite a bit and it was definitely comfy. Bed was sweeeet.

Being so close to the Palladio is very convenient for shopping as well as dining options. It was also a simple commute into Rancho Cordova where I needed to be daily. What bothered met the most about this property is the following: 1. Cleaning every 3 days and I was there for 3 weeks. 4 times no coffee was restocked and twice no body wash was restocked. 2. They charge $12/day for parking. I know this was not on Expedia when I was looking. However it is there now. That being said, its absolutely ridiculous to charge for parking here. It's not like it's San Francisco or something like that where you need to be concerned about the lack of parking. Parking should be included in the cost of the room. 3. They told me they would only charge me for 3 days of parking since I was there for 3 weeks. However, when I checked out, they charge for every day. So far, have not receive a credit requested. 4. They are a pet friendly hotel, which I am fine with. However, they should have a policy that pets cannot be left in the rooms alone. I had a large dog that sounded like a german shepherd or similar next door that was barking all day for 3 days. Driving me crazy. I called the front desk and they tried to get hold of the guest and were unable to. This happened daily for 3 days and apparently the management was more concerned about the owner of the dog than the fact that other guests were interested in peace and quiet and relaxation while there and all round that room.

I loved everything about this property! The environment is very beautiful and the staff make it easy and the rooms are modern and clean!

This is really an extended stay accomodation.

The room was much larger than I expected. I loved the separation of the kitchen. I also liked how we could open the windows. We could also turn the tv a little to watch from the couch or the bed.

Great area lot of places to walk to.

Everything has been great. Except we booked the 2 bedroom room with fireplace and there’s no fireplace. Front desk check in was very nice. Overall a great stay.

We love this hotel! Only one complaint, the stinky bushes outside the main entrance. It's absolutely disgusting! Luckily they are just along the one walkway.

Check in was easy, room was great, but the pillows were horrendous!!! Glad we only had to sleep on them for one night.

It was a good stay.

BE AWARE of large pet fee. I booked using the filter pet friendly. I paid in advance hotel, taxes and FEES. When arrived I was informed of an additional non refundable pet fee. This was not posted on the website during booking. After I investigated I saw that you have to click on pets. I thought this was deceptive and also extravagant for a one night stay. Fool me once …

The staff were excellent and appreciated their professionalism. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and practical. Breakfast was adequate.

The first night someone was prank calling our room at 2:00 am. We complained to the front desk. We just simply unplugged the landline/room phones. Otherwise the stay was superb! We arrived late and the front desk was very accommodating. Room was spacious, clean and conformable - home away from home. I would stay there again.

Everything was great, but no towels for guests in pool area. Think there were two left when I used the facilities. The hot tub was extremely frothy guessing from having my own hot tub overdue for water change. So did not use! The bedroom was fantastic very comfortable and clean and loved the second room with kitchen, dining area, etc. We would stay here again.

My check-in experience was very fast and swift. I got checked and was able to get to my room right away and the customer service was great! My room was great and the location was awesome. We cannot wait to stay again.

The rooms were spacious with a full kitchen and plates and utensils. The bed was comfortable. It was close to highway and restaurants

Great to have a kitchen and private room and bath in our suite. I was concerned they ran out of breakfast items on Christmas Eve morning an hour before breakfast was out and the pool was so chlorinated our eyes were burning.

The room was barely clean. Clean enough not to complain but shower could have been better on the edges. Breakfast was underwhelming. Poor selection. Waffle batter would not pour properly, eggs overcooked, sausages and potatoes undercooked. Juice machine did not work. Only fruit available was bananas. It was raining hard and the gutters were overflowing making a large waterfall outside our first floor room. $12 for parking when parking was free at the Courtyard next door seems to be a money grab. I will not be back.
