Sanctuary Hotel is a one of a kind hotel, where all are focused on guests having a wonderful stay. Gabe and the staff cannot do enough for each and every patron. After your first stay, you will always come back; again and again.

When expedia / hotels.com double booked the staff worked with me to resolve the problem. After 3 tries by me and staff, they wrote to expexia/hotel to advise they had made the mistake. Best NYC. Hotel we've found in 40 years of travel.

We absolutely loved the location of Sanctuary, but even better was the staff! The hotel was lovely and very inviting. Rooms were typical NYC small and the bathroom configuration is a little odd when sharing a room with a friend, but we managed just fine on our quick trip. The beds and bedding are fabulous! The hotel staff is top notch - easily some of the best I've encountered in NYC and beyond - they went above and beyond to take care of any questions or concerns and appeared to genuinely love their job!

Our second stay here - very personalized and friendly. Great location. Small rooms, as typical of midtown Manhattan. Plentiful hot water rainfall shower head. We had a good night’s sleep.

A quick trip to see a couple of Broadway plays. Hotel was ideally located close to theatres, Times Square and shopping. Area had lots of people in it, so we felt secure at all time. The room (a queen) as SMALL, but clean and efficient. We didn't go to spend time in the room anyway. The only downside was the included breakfast was pretty disorganized and wasn't great.

Great location and unlike many hotels in nyc has friendly, welcoming staff with a service attitude. lobby very stylish. location for centre couldn't be better. roof top bar nice too. breakfast a bit basic but ok. Overall a great place

Such a unique place - sushi is incredible. Staff is wonderful. Rooms are very good, especially considering it is New York. Continental breakfast is included! Rooms came with robes, well stocked mini bar, great toiletries, comfortable beds. Blackout shades which was good because there was a really well lit office building across the street. Very convenient to Times Square, the Theater district and great restaurants. Minor issue - the windows are older so in January, when I went, there was cold air coming through the windows. However, the heating system and warm, comfy comforters on the bed took care of the cold. Highly recommend.

We chose the Sanctuary Hotel due its location and price. It is a short walk to most Broadway theaters, Time Square and Rockefeller Center. The staff was very attentive, personable and helpful. While our room was small it met our needs for a short visit with a nice shower and queen sized bed. The lobby was very nice though small. The included continental breakfast was available from 7-10 in a comfortable area but it was average at best. We enjoyed a very good meal at their rooftop restaurant, Haven. Overall, I would stay here again and recommend it highly to others.
