When we entered our room we were so impressed. It was clean, spacious and economical. But we were quickly disenchanted when we learned there was no wifi. We called the desk and the guy said he'd check the router. We never heard back from him and the wifi never came on. We had lots of travel research and planning to do, so it was incredibly inconvenient.

I have a large family, including teens and small children. The suite was very spacious and accommodating, and the free breakfast is a convenient feature. The room was a little older, which is understandable considering the area, but the beds and decor were comfortable.

The lodge was amazing. I called and a nice gentleman helped my crew out with the parking situation. Thank you so much for the help.

Having a fridge and microwave in the room is a bonus. Coffee was appreciated but needs work. No pen and pad or alarm clock in the room. Kids love the heated pool.

Walkable to restaurants and shopping. Easy access to Santa Barbara. Excellent continental breakfast. Would recommend

Stay was good but parked near a tree and got sap all over my newly detailed car. ( was not happy). Please either mention to your customers about the tree sap or don’t have parking near those trees.

Affordable and nice. I wish the carpets have had a better conditions, and the rooms were less noisy.

Buyer Beware: COCKROACHES! My family (including two young kids) booked Room 129 on Feb 21, 2025. Shortly after check-in, my wife noticed cockroaches—both large and small—emerging from the baseboards and vanity mirror. Some were crawling near our luggage, making us extremely uncomfortable. When we requested a refund, night clerks Dexter and Rocio (names I was given had no name tags on) were dismissive, offering only to move us to another room. They refused to call a manager and said we had to wait until the next day as only manager had authority to issue a refund. After 20 minutes of back-and-forth, we checked out by 7:30 PM. They refused to provide a printed receipt, only handing over a car info form with a timestamp. Expedia later informed us that the property manager denied our refund request. After researching, I found 18 reviews from 2022-2025 mentioning cockroaches and ants—yet the hotel still holds an 8.4 rating. The staff was unapologetic, and it’s clear they know about the infestation but do nothing. Do your research before booking!

Very easy to get to and the room was nice and clean. The only issue I had was with the WiFi, it was quite often a weak signal or none at all. Otherwise the breakfast room was well stocked and we enjoyed the pool.

Easy parking

Room was clean & comfortable. Very nice & professional front desk employees. Easy parking. Decent breakfast. Would stay again. The only issue for me was almost constant yelling & arguing coming from a room very close to my room. Apparently some sort of a domestic dispute was going on because the next morning local police officers were present & visible from my room. I completely understand the hotel can’t be held responsible for actions of its guests but the hotel could possibly/ potentially ask unruly guests not adhering to the rules to leave to ensure the rest of the guests will have a pleasant stay.

Great place to stay
