Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa

I love the beach area and snorkeling at big rock. The swimming pools were awesome. Watching the sunset from here was beautiful. We had several restaurants in the area to choose from. Parking was easy and convenient. Great location to explore from, close to many options. Not crazy about the shower.

Best resort on the west side of maui. Highly recommend for a nice relaxing vacation. We stayed for 6 nights.

We loved our stay at the Sheraton Maui. The proximity to the beach was wonderful, the rooms were comfortable, the breakfast buffet was fantastic. We stayed in another nearby resort a few years ago and we all agreed the Sheraton was better. We'll stay there again next time we go to Maui.

Beautiful location and property! Adding couple of good restaurants can really enhance the place. Overall we traveled with family and truly enjoyed our stay.

Need more vegetarian options in the restaurant

The rooms are old. Need to be updated. Carpet needs to be changed. Bathroom sink was clogged. We ran into one of the engineering guy and told him. He said he was going to fix it. It was still clogged. We had dinner there at their at one of the restaurant and had some left overs, asked multiple staff there to warm it up but they all said that they don’t have a microwave. How can a hotel not have a single microwave. I basically went all around the whole facility to just to get my food warmed up. Finally, we spoke with one of the managers and she was able to help us. There is only one microwave for the whole entire hotel. I felt like it was a battle just to get a chair under the umbrella for some shade. If you don’t go to the pool by 7am, there is no chance for being in the shade. There was only about 10 umbrella for the entire hotel. They need more umbrella We had a false fire alarm a 2 am. We were instructed to leave the building. People went to the pool area waiting and none of the staff came to let us know that we can go back into the building. We waited and then decided to call. The person who answered the phone said “Oh, it’s a false alarm. The alarm should have turned off already.” Now, how are we suppose to know that when the alarm is off, we can go back in the room! I was not able to go back to sleep after the fire alarm. I understand that a false alarm can happen but not sending one of their staff over to let us know that we can enter the room is very unacceptable.

We were upgraded to an ocean front room on top of black rock; the view was fantastic! The pool lounge chairs were not clean (covered in bird poop) and many broken. The bathroom sink was cracked, the electrical outlets would not hold a charger, and there were tiny ants by the coffee maker. Room just seemed worn.

My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the Sheraton. The pool was definitely the highlight of the trip for my 3 year old. With its 1.5ft pool section and a water slide it was definitely a hit for her and any child. Also, being close to the beach and black rock cliff it was a great place to swim and go snorkeling to see all kinds of sealife and especially the sea turtles. The short walk along the walking path on the beach to whalers village was very nice and very convenient. I would definitely stay here again with my family for future trips. Also, the staff working there were very friendly and helpful with all of our needs.

We stayed 4 nights at the resort and we found the staff was very friendly and accommodating, the facility is really well kept and the food and drink options were great.

Sheraton Hotel in Hawaii offered us an unforgettable experience from breathtaking scenery, amenities, and service. Location is convenient. Great for families

The amenities on the property is awesome. The rooms are old but the property is well kept.

Nice hotel with a great beach near the black rock snorkeling spot. Pool was nice, but the hotel was “high volume” — a lot of people go through there and I think they have to work hard to keep the place clear, which they do pretty well. We stayed in a deluxe suite with 4 people which was very comfortable and a step above the standard room. We really liked it. We ate most of our meals at the resort, which was very expensive, but the food was decent. Overall, this was a great family trip.

The service and staff were outstanding.

We had a great room with a fantastic view. The grounds are beautiful. Food was pretty good. My wife is allergic to cats and on our final night in their 4 star restaurant they have a cat roaming between and under the tables. We had to leave and try upstairs but the cat had run of the place and showed up there too. We settled for a good steak and half cooked chicken on our patio. Almost spoiled a great vacation but we enjoyed ourselves for the most part.
