The room had everything you needs and the staff is very accommodating everything was easy manageable through the app

Over all everything was great the only thing I could think of was that the shower or washroom could be bigger

I like the property location.

I was over the moon to stay at the sonder, it was everything I expected and more. This was my first trip solo to a town I wasn’t so familiar with and the sonder made me feel really safe w the way they have a code to enter the building. The room itself, I wish I could live there it’s so lovely. I will be back and I will recommend.

Everything went good, just didn’t enjoy the checking in process. Without booking directly with the host had made it kind of complicated but we figured it out and everything else was great.

I’ve stayed in a Sonder before and really like the concept. It was a clean unit and nice to have kitchen facilities and washer and dryer all within a nicely designed space. Our unit was extremely loud and we could hear people coming off of the elevator at all hours of the night as well as the slamming stairwell door. We were not told that the refrigerator would be off and we added food to it and ended up throwing it all away because it went bad from the fridge not being on. Additionally, Sonder says there is a supply locker in the lobby and we could refresh our own towels and supplies as needed. That was not the case. I appreciated the code that was needed to get into the building which added some additional security. But all in all the area around there just does not seem super safe and if it was dark, I definitely would take a lyft/uber back to the apartment.

It was nice and spacious. However you’re pretty much on your own for any service. There were two bath towels for three of us. We asked for three days for more and never got a third towel. The tv and Roku remotes didn’t work. Nobody was available so you couldn’t watch tv. They probably just need batteries. The desk guy is there sometimes but really doesn’t do anything. The location was great. The people mover is free and it’s a couple hundred feet from your door.

This was a great spot for our family of 5. Clean, comfortable, in a great location. Even though they do not offer parking onsite, there is plenty of pay lots around, or I opted to park free over at MGM Casino, with about 7 minute walk back to property. Will definitely recommend this property & stay again.

I'll never stay at Sonder again. The Check in process was horrible.

Place was nice, had all the amenities. We were able to check in a little early. Was bummed we couldn’t get all the window blinds to open all the way, since it was such a nice view. Lots of room inside the apartment. Will definitely stay here again

Very friendly and helpful staff all around.

I was very happy with my stay at Sonder. The location was great; walkable distance to everything I wanted to see. Having all the amenities of a studio apartment really helped me to save money by being able to cook and store food. The only slight complaint is that it could have been a little bit cleaner; but I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Detroit!

I loved the early bag drop off. The hotel was clean and the perfect size for a short or long stay. The kitchen is perfect. I loved this property

Nice place to stay, especially if you want to walk to a Tigers or Lions game. The staff I met were very nice and I would stay here again. The only issue we had was the Roku tv wouldn't work, which seemed to be something that is not uncommon. Fortunately for us we didn't spend much time in the room, so it wasn't too big a deal.

I seldom write reviews, but my stay at the Sonder was so terrible that I had to share it. While the apartment was clean and check-in was relatively easy, the walls were paper-thin, which means you could hear everything outside. Unfortunately the night I was there there was a group of drunk people arguing, screaming and slamming doors intermittently between 1 am and 3 am. Security did respond after I called, only to knock loudly on someone's door and yell 'You're going to be evicted if you don't stop screaming'. Cops should've been called. I later found out a work colleague had a very similar experience a few weeks ago. The guy at the front desk was very nonchalant about the 'yelling' when I mentioned it to him the next morning. Sounds like maybe this happens frequently. Avoid this place.
