Staybridge Suites STROUDSBURG (EAST) POCONOS, an IHG Hotel

So this hotel is definitely older as there are signs of wear on the walls doors etc but it didn't really detract from the stay. All the staff I met were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. We had asking suite and it was well equipped. Funny enough the hall sound dampening is good. I barely heard anything from the hallway in our room but the outdoor/window sound dampening was pretty terrible. There was an ice storm and while I appreciate that they were snowblowing and salting it sounded like they were snowblowing my room and we were in the third floor. Breakfast was good. Parents beware the Indoor pool is not heated !!!!

The room was small. Looked bigger in pictures. The thermostat did not work correctly. First night cold air blowing from vent. Second night still blowing but not warm. Breakfast was not very good. It was cold. Except the waffle maker. That was good. Otherwise close to snow tubing and wineries and antiques.

Perfect location to Shawnee mountain. Quaint and reasonably priced.

The hotel was beautiful but the shower was not up to par. There was only one grab bar and it was at the front of the shower. There was an exhaust in the the ceiling but did not heat it running or was a switch to turn the fan on or off.

Hotel smells weird and looks and feels past its prime. Bed was lumpy, the tub had visible patch jobs in it, the linens were frayed, and the decor was outdated.

Cozy place, perfect for the family. Front desk couldn’t have been any nicer! Bhoomi is the best!

Not updates. No usb plugs for phone. No options for your own coffee ie filters

It’s very good hotel

We booked one night here after we went snow tubing in Shawnee. We knew we’d be too tired to drive home after a day at the mountains. We live only 2.5-3 hours away, but the price was right so we booked it. We checked in around 5:30 pm. We were showering and getting ready to go to dinner. As we were getting ready, the lights flickered on and then off. We thought it was weird, but continued to get ready. 5 minutes later, all of the power in the entire hotel went out! We decided to just pack up our stuff and head home. The front desk gave us our money back and we went on our way. I was thankful they gave us our money back, considering we were there for about 45 minutes. So we appreciate the staff, but we did not have the best experience here.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bath King / Queen unit. For a family of 4 the kids get their own room, as us adults dud as well. The breakfast was delicious for being included. It gives you enough to get the day started. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Everything was perfect. The rooms were nice spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Dove soap in the bathrooms and all. By far one of the best hotels I've stayed in.

Convenient, Easy access to I80 expressway. Affordable. Breakfast included

This hotel is perfect in every aspect.

The property although is in a good location, it is very poorly maintained. The room was very dirty, carpets stained, beat up furniture, cabintry falling apart, dirty linens and dirty couches.

A great stay! Spacious room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast service with a good variety. Only complaint was the thin windows let through more traffic noise at night
