No complaints here. Did have our keys stop working at one point. Despite saying how cards, keys, and heat could affect key cards, it doesn’t happen everywhere. But overall this was a pretty good place. Definitely the most spacious room on our road trip. Breakfast was okay but the service at the restaurant was non existent.

This place was a complete disaster and almost ruined visit to Carlsbad National Park. The hotel is completed outdated. Our bathroom had a clogged tub and a toilet seat that was peeling (ugh). The pool was so dirty, I am not sure the last time it was cleaned. It smelled like fish/old shoes around the pool. The AC struggled to keep up and the walls were paper thin. Plus, the internet didn't work. The pictures of this hotel are very misleading. A complete disaster. We stayed two nights--we woke up after the 2nd night early and left as soon as possible. I hope Wyndham is reading this review

First of all, dead cockroach, have picture of it, secondly night lamp didn’t work, tv turned on but no image, bathtub was dirty, WiFi wasn’t working properly, but what made it sustainable was the breakfast and the Hispanic lady that attended us. Yes, we were given half the total bill, which was nice of them, but still doesn’t take away the stigma of staying there again. It would been nice if everything had gone well, due to the fact we were in town for a funeral.

Nice, clean rooms. Comfy beds. Ac worked just fine. Comvenient location. Paked right outside of my room. Was very quiet when i closed the soor, despite the main road being 20 yards away. If any other guests were loud, i coildnt hear them. All the emenities yoy need. The breakfast was sub par, ao dont count on that. Other than that, i will be stayingherw again thw next time im in Carlsbad.

First room was in Old building with dim lighting and run down everything. So we got moved to newer building on second floor. But it had a clogged toilet which ten minutes with a plunger didn't fix (and the plunger had to be checked out, which wasnt a good sign). Room 3 didn't get hot water for a shower. I'm not that picky, but this place was sub standard. The service however was excellent in trying to make the best of a terrible property
