Easy to get to and a lot of store access around you

This is a cheaper motel so you get what you pay for, it was okay nothing special. But lots of pot smokers stinking up the building. The outside grounds needed to be cleaned up. If you don't expect too much you'll be fine here.

The good: Check in staff was helpful and friendly. The restroom in our room was clean, and the property around the hotel was well kept. Breakfast this morning was underwhelming, but it was a good showing for a budget hotel. Now, the not so good: Around 5 PM yesterday someone from staff let themself into our room-no knocking or announcement-said “sorry, sorry” then shut the door. Throughout the night (into the early morning) our television was turning on and off, changing channels, adjusting volume. I ended up just unplugging it. Could this be an issue with universal remotes? This morning who I assume were housekeeping staff “hung out” outside of our room the last 30 or so minutes before check out time, they were clearly waiting for us to leave. Our check out time was 11 AM, we were out sometime between 10:55 and 11:00. We probably would have been out earlier, but decided to sleep in after the fire alarm went off early this morning. I hope they were thorough in their cleaning after we left - we found a bottle of lotion and a sock under the bed from the previous guest while we were packing up this morning. Our room cards stopped working this morning, maybe they were only set to work for yesterday’s date? I’ve stayed at this Super8 plenty of times before. It’s been a great budget hotel in the past, but this was not the experience I’m used to. I’m not sure if it’s the season, new management, or another factor, but I hope whatever it is gets resolved soon.

I love this place will definitely be coming back

The staff was polite and considerate. The room was somewhat dirty, drapes were held together with a paper binder clip. Alarm clock was found behind the dresser on the floor.

Very nice place for our stay

We enjoyed our one night stay at this Super 8! It was quiet and clean and in a great location! If in the area again, we would stay again!

Hotel needs to be updated.

Walls are thin, so you hear the neighbors. The outlets were loose, so it was hard to plug in my charger.

Nice place to stay

The staff was nice, but the room was outdated. Our thermostat didn’t work in the room.

We did not like that even though we requested an late checkout they woke us up at 11 asking where we were anyway. Other than the whole point of late checkout being ruined the rest of the stay was satisfactory.

The breakfast is quite minimal. The room was only cleaned once during our three day stay, after we raised the issue with the front desk. Staff was friendly.

Decent place

Dirty room uncomfortable blankets, pillows, and mattress, tv is about as old as i am, for having almost 100 rooms and charging at least $60 for a single one they could definitely afford to make it more comfortable. The single staff member i saw was super nice so theres about the only redeeming feature. Oh and the walls and ceilings must be made of paper because holy moly i could hear every conversation going on around me. Zero sense of privacy like that.

aExcellent room. Clean. Had All the amenities we needed. Easy access to room through side door with guarded pass key for room and door. Microwave and refrigerator provided. Friendly staff. Easy online check-in and check out procedures. Excellent value for the price. Had everything we needed and wanted. Look forward to doing it again. Close proximity to soaring eagle Casino. Ample parking. Complimentary breakfast was decent with a working staff refilling items as needed. No hard boiled eggs nor waffles. But I was able to enjoy hot oatmeal, hot tea, orange juice, cranberry juice, milk, yogurt, apples and other options. Cold cereal available. Hot biscuits and gravy and sausages available also. Our room was clean, comfortable and attractive. Soap and shampoo and conditioner were provided. In-room, coffee available. Shower was hot and enjoyable. The air conditioner heating unit for the room worked well. Beds and pillows and covers were comfortable. I got a great night sleep! Cable TV was available with Movie channels provided and sports and other great selection of channels available. We recommend super eight in Mount Pleasant!

Desk staff was friendly & efficient..room was clean & comfortable..

I will admit I was a bit concerned after seeing the lobby and work station while checking in. It was unappealing and looked unclean. Behind the check-in desk were laundry carts, supplies etc. The young woman checking us in was very welcoming and competent. We were pleased with our room. It appeared to be recently updated with a walk in shower. It was called a king suite. The linens and bedding were clean and fresh.
