The pool was closed! Sporadic housekeeping. They’d changed us $1.50 per night for an in room safe. But, the safe did not work. I was told I would receive a refund, but I didn’t. Nice staff.

Upon arriving at checkin time there was a line of 6 people before me, and only one clerk working. He was doing his best. But was very stressed. He apologized to everyone several times, the other clerk was running late. When I finally got my turn, checking in went smoothly until we were told the pool and hot tub were not going to be available for the length of the stay. Then asked “Is that going to be ok?”😄 I was not smiling by then. What could we do? I’ve already paid in full and left a deposit now the only amenities they have will be unavailable. Very disappointed. I hope there is no problem with my deposit refund which will take a few days.

The room was a nice size, however the bed was very dirty. The bathroom set up was weird. I prefer the sink and bathtub to not be so close to the toilet. It was difficult to move in and out the bathroom. The cold water in the shower was hot, and vice versa.

We have stayed here because the last time we visited San Diego we found this hotel and we liked it but this time around it was a bad experience we get here and we found it the pool was close, and my kids were excited for the pool they could of told us that the pool is going to be close we wouldn’t have stayed here if it was closed

Front desk staff doesn’t care. They are busy in chit chatting with each other when customers are waiting to check in. Told 30 minutes to wait but the actual wait was around 90 minutes for check in. The fridge wasn’t working. Room didn’t look clean. It’s the very basic property, don’t get fooled by good reviews because they had nothing better to compare. One other customer was comparing it with some road side motel. You get the idea, keep this in mind.
