The Beach Haus Resort

This property is conveniently located and had a really nice outdoor area. The beach was very well maintained and had adequate and nice chairs, loungers, etc. We hung out on the beach most of the time when we weren't out doing things. The sunsets were amazing. We really enjoyed the fresh towels and the easy access from our room to the beach. A couple of our only complaints would be the interior of the rooms were a little dated and there was hardly ever coffee available in the mornings which made no sense because we were told it was available 24/7. Our only other complaint was it seemed the staff was really limited so they were hard to find if you needed something. Neither of these things would limit us from staying again, and I would recommend this place to friends and family!

Every thing was great . My recommendation is to get a quiet AC as when sitting in The balcony , it’s too loud and noisy . Also if they can do mosquito or flies control , it will be great

The “best beach” in Traverse City, hands down. The beach is fantastic - very clean and plenty of nice chairs.

It’s really a motel that has been slightly upgraded on the bay. The beach front was good and well maintained. The bay is really shallow there.

Very beautiful place, it was our 40th wedding anniversary, but unfortunately it rained the whole day, had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony. Kevon is an amazing staff member, would definitely return for a longer stay to enjoy

We booked a suite for our wedding mini moon. Service was excellent, everyone was very nice and hospitable. Everything in the room and bathroom was updated and modern. Being on beach was great. My only complaint was the AC unit, it was SO loud. To the point, you couldn’t hear the TV and it woke me up at night, multiple times. I won’t stay here again until the units are updated, kind of put a damper on getting a good nights sleep. Hopefully they address this. Everything else was great though!

The reason I didn't like hotel experience is because upon arrival a/c was not working, then we got moved to another room to our luck available but when we outside to balcony it was full of spider webs and spiders. Other than that the inside was very clean, and stafff very responsive. Mixed feelings.

I had a very pleasant stay. Clean room, comfortable bed, nice location right on the beach, and a very friendly and helpful staff. No complaints.

This property was clean, updated inside the rooms and had very comfortable beds. The beach sand was super soft and the kids enjoyed playing in it while we sat on the chairs. There is a lot of traffic on the road so don't plan on crossing it or walking all the way into town. Breakfast came in boxes delivered in the morning and their was coffee available.

For a same day booking it was so easy to get checked in and ready to get into the room. Loved that it was a straight walkout to the beach on the main floor. Very clean and friendly and make sure the beach area stayed organized through out the day! Will totally stay here again

Have stayed here before as family of 4 and things were very good. This stay missed missed the mark completely. No one working desk to check us in, had to call the hotel next door per the information on the door, finally she came and she was very rude and verbally not happy about having to walk all the way over to that side. She gave us the wrong information for our rooms and when we finally got to them, they were outside rooms (like a motel). They were not clean, not stocked, and not comfortable or quiet (I could have slept in my car and been more comfortable and had less noise from the road). Breakfast order was late and wrong for 3 out of 4 orders. When we went to check out, again no one at the desk, had to chase someone down who was again less than thrilled to assist a guest. I understand it was after a long holiday weekend but we were paying guests too and we all left disappointed and very tired.

Great view of the bay with plenty of beach chairs on the sand. It is a very pleasant sandy beach.

We've stayed at a few places in the area but this was our first time here. It was nice a quiet. Staff was great. Location and property were perfect. Nice little sitting and eating area in the grass with a great view of the bay. Breakfast delivered to your door for free. It was very nice. Hope to stay here again.

The property was beautiful and the staff was fantastic! Chocolate chip cookies every evening and beautiful sunsets and sunrises every day. Amenities, including beach towels, were always available. Could not have asked for a lovelier place to stay.
