Great! We made the mistake of not calling ahead of time

To be honest, we were not impressed at all with Coho. Other reviews were so positive, but we found it to be a big, unpleasant, very ordinary hotel. The room was worn and out dated and had a funny smell, the coffee at breakfast was horrible, and the breakfast selection was par with Motel 6. Very little good food options in the area. Just sub par all the way around. We did like the beach though and got in two great walks.

Everyone was so friendly! Great location and amenities. Plenty of options for beverages, even clothing for the strong Oregon winds. Very enjoyable & great service by staff.

Rooms were ok but could use updating a bit. Outlet on wall open with no plate. Breakfast ok.

Staff was very friendly, the room had a wonderful view of the ocean, and the continental breakfast was one of the best ones I’ve had in a while! I would definitely stay here again.

One of the best places we have ever stayed! I wish we could’ve been here longer than one night. Incredible views, clean and comfortable rooms, and wonderful amenities all around. Would rate 6 stars if I could. Cant wait to come back!

Great view of the ocean from my room. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom was small but clean. Parking is not always available if you come back late. However, there is street parking.

Very nice location with ocean views and beach access close by. The property is well maintained and offers a nice hot breakfast. Staff were polite and friendly. Unfortunately, the online checkout did not reflect the booking rate, and was higher by $54.11 for a (1) night, which was corrected at the front desk. Arrival at the front desk did not cover the rate,only pets, parking, smoking, pool hours and checkout time. Pay attention to your checkout billing.

Its all about the view and location. The "suite" was dated and not well stocked. For over $370 a night, i would expect the soaps to be full (shampoo and body qash totally empty), tissue, iron, an actual coffee maker (not a french press) and more than 3 towels for a 2 bedroom family suite. The pool also didnt stock enough towels and we had to go request some. The staff were incredibly friendly. The night auditor was great. The hotel isnt terrible, but for that price, it was way overpriced for the lack of in-room care and amenities. I wouldnt return.

You’re getting outstanding location and a view to match with this property. Beautiful sunset view and a quick and easy walk down to the expansive beach. These are basically the perks and they are both significant. Beyond that it’s basically ordinary. Lobby and other shared spaces feel a bit dated, but so what? You’re probably not there to hang out in those places.There’s a fire pit area, but there’s only like three of them and it’s first come first serve, so get grab one and hold on if there’s availability. If there’s a downside, it’s the gym—very small and backs up to their sauna, so it’s completely overheated. Also, they have a dumbbell tree, but rather comically, they have one dumbbell for each of the few weights that they carry. I don’t think anyone that actually works out came up with this concept. Plan on long walks, yoga, or jogs along the beach for your exercise if you stay here. Overall, we got what we came for. My wife loved the ocean view, and I could see us coming back again.

My husband and I have stayed at the Coho a handful of times over the past decade and honestly, we feel like the price is not worth the quality anymore. After our most recent trip, I don’t think we’ll be going back. Pros: The bed and pillows were comfortable. The fire pits were relaxing to sit by whilst watching the sun set. The location is close to shops and restaurants. The front lobby is clean and updated. Cons: Where do I begin…the bathroom is the size of a hall closet. There was also no fan in the bathroom so you had to shower with the door open in order to breathe through the steam. The shower was also SO CREAKY, you could not step anywhere in the shower without extremely loud creaks. The floor did not feel sturdy at all. We are average sized people, and we still both thought the tub was going to fall through the floor. The parking was also not great. There’s over 100 rooms but 15 parking spots. The a/c in the room also did not work. We even had to have maintenance come and “fix it” but still, the room never got below 71 even though we had the thermostat set to 68. It was HOT. The windows wouldn’t open more than 4 inches either!!!!!!! We couldn’t get any airflow or breeze unless we left our room door open to get a cross breeze. I get the safety aspect but my goodness, THERE WAS NO BREEZE AND AC DIDNT WORK!! With the curtains open and the sun shining in, the room got up to 74 at times.
