We enjoyed our overnight stay at The Glidden House after a day of seeing the Picasso on Paper show at The Cleveland Museum of Art. This gorgeous hotel was the home of the founder of Glidden Paints. The ornate woodwork, elaborate ceilings and decor are gorgeous. Breakfast included in the rate. Clean, comfortable room with comfy beds. A friendly staff. $15 overnight parking fee is quite reasonable. You are within a 600-foot walk of a first rate restaurant, "L'Albatros." We will be back!.

My son and I had a wonderful stay at Glidden House while in town for a college visit. The location was convenient to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was great as well. Very friendly staff. We would definitely stay there again.

Glidden House is a lovely alternative to large hotels. It is within walking distance to Severance Music Center, the Cleveland Art Museum, the History Center, the Botanical Gardens and the Natural History Museum.

Glidden House is my second home. I come to Cleveland to avail myself of its fine cultural institutions, most of which are within easy walking distance of GH. The hotel offers the amenities common to most hotels (although the breakfast stands alone). Most importantly to me, it has what typical hotels of our day lack: charm and character.

Our stay was amazing! The customer service was outstanding. I was traveling with my niece and nephew, and we were so welcomed by the front desk and by the other employees at the hotel. The amenities offered were amazing. Free parking, complementary, hot, chocolate, complementary breakfast. We were able to leave our car for a few hours after check out to explore the area. We plan to return very soon.
