The Hotel Salem

The staff at the hotel were friendly, courteous, very helpful and professional. Basically, they all went, "above and beyond in regard to guest service. Very nice location, convenient to shopping and historic sites. The lack of close parking makes it really disappointing.

The hotel had a power outage during our stay ( no fault of the hotel). The staff was communicative and accommodating even offering to book us in another hotel. We chose to stay. This place and staff are special! It was a great decision to stay. We would definitely stay again!

Centered delightfully in the pedestrian shopping area is this beautiful hotel! Great staff...front desk, housekeeping, cooks, everyone! Do not bring a vehicle..we will definitely use this hotel again!

Perfect location right on Essex Street. Front desk staff were always very friendly. Room 301 was super spacious.

Great location and amenities. We had a blast and the extra bed for the kid was such a great addition. The only thing we didnt like was the lack of parking but we still made do and would stay here again.

Great modern hotel, perfect location

Kaleigh greeted us with the kindest energy I've ever received at a hotel. She was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We had the pleasure of talking to Zach in the morning and he was delightful. Everyone at the hotel was so nice. The hotel was funky, clean and SO centrally located! The beds were super comfortable and there was a fantastic amount of towels! Its my favorite Salem Hotel!

We were in a super small room and they have one way Ac/heat. Being from Florida not knowing we got hot and turned down the AC but that only pushed more heat in the room. 73 degrees all night.

For our first visit to Salem I was ecstatic over location of this hotel, literally in the middle of downtown Salem! You walk out the front entrance and you are just walking distance from shopping, dining, museums, exhibits, you name it, it’s right there! There is no onsite parking so you have to utilize a parking garage, which again is only 2-3 minutes away from the hotel! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend the Hotel Salem! The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable as well! We had a great time and when we go back, because we will I will be staying right at the Hotel Salem!

The staff is absolutely amazing. Accommodating, hospitable and very friendly. The property is very clean and the rooms were very clean as well. Overall very impressed with this little boutique hotel.

Hotel Salem is a charm, location is perfect. I thought that the place would be loud at night time becuase the restaurant but it was not, at all. I will choose this hotel again.
