Very nice , clean, quiet place .

The entire property is under construction. It will be awesome once complete. I feel like they should have been closed during this renovation. It’s A LOT. Depending on when you go be sure the construction is done! Bed is HARD, and platform is kinda high, not the easiest bed to get in. No coffee maker in room, no”continental breakfast”, we had to go out first thing for a cup of coffee!! We wil go back after it’s finished!!!

Overall, good experience! It was under construction when I went so, but overall room was spacious clean and comfortable stay. Super close to the main attractions that Solvang had to offer. Would stay again!

I feel misled by Expedia, not taking down the pictures on their website, deflecting such a beautiful environment, when in fact, they are under full renovations. I spoke to the manager and they have been asking for over. I’m not sure if it was three years or three months to take the pictures off of their site. This is not a bed-and-breakfast.

I stayed at the M Solvang for two nights with my sister and we had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean and comfortable and we had a great time having coffee and a Danish in the garden. It is a perfect small walk from all the shops and restaurants in Solvang, but far enough where you can enjoy some peace and quiet. We look forward to seeing the new additions to the property and agreed that if we ever come back to Solvang we will stay at this location again!

We enjoyed our stay at The M Solvang hotel. The location provided excellent walking proximity to the shops and restaurants in solvang. The hotel property seemed quite dated and the amenities in the room were certainly not upscale. It was almost as if they slapped a new sign on an old hotel, the Solvang garden inn or whatever it used to be, and haven't really done anything since. The hotel manager was friendly, and mentioned they will be doing some significant updates to the property, so it would be nice to come back and see how it looks in a few months.

This was a quick trip to Solvang just one night. Everything was great. The only thing I can give a complaint on is that when I checked out they tagged on an extra $10 when I asked what this was for the gentleman told me it was for the coffee cups the soap and the shampoo that they charge for. Doesn’t this usually come included with the price of a hotel room? This extra fee that I was not expecting, even though it was not that much, was kind of annoying because those things should be included in the price of a room.

Easy checkin , nothing more outstanding

Stayed two nights and I never saw any staff members they did not do housekeeping in my room nobody greeted us and the condition of the building was poor, light bulbs not working, the bathroom door couldn’t close properly and couldn’t be locked, bathtub peeling off, and dust all over the room. I would not stay there again and would not recommend this property to anyone

Property was ok older building and beds not super comfortable. Blow dryer was cracked and shower was not super clean. Parking lot was tight for our small vehicle

We really enjoyed the outside gardens with water fountains.

Not worth the price they charge on special occasions

Cozy. Comfortable bed. Nice shower temperature and pressure. Short walk to town. Excellent staff. Only complaint is paper thin walls. Didn’t bother us because we had good neighbors but you can hear everything.

Quaint and cute, walking distance to everything. We had a king bed room, with a pull out couch in a separate room. Had a mini frig and microwave. Bedroom had a heater/air conditioner. Living room had an electric fireplace for heat. Spacious bathroom. Ice and water fill up station on the property. Only negatives we found was there wasn't a tv in the bedroom, only one in the living room. And the blinds didnt provide the same darkness we prefer, would've preferred blackout curtains. Later checkout was nice too (check out isn't until 11am) so you have plenty of time to go grab breakfast, coffee, or go to a bakery in the morning if you want. Would highly recommend!

The property is so close to town that you can walk there. Tons of good food options near by. Room was clean when we arrived and property was decorated for Christmas.

Don’t accept room #17 since there is a room on top of that and it is too noisy when they are walking/talking in second floor. other rooms are one level and should be ok. However it was very clean and cozy. Close to downtown and walkable. Parking was ok. Each room has one parking but still you can park in street if no parking.

The M Solvang is clean and quiet. Staff and service is helpful. Property is convenient and easily accessible to the main tourist spot.
