The River Inn

A centrally located place, about a 5-min walk from the Metro. Nice, walkable neighborhood. Very friendly staff. Daily room service. Comfy bed and also comfy sofa bed. Kitchen with some utensils, china and pots in the room. Some parts of the room show their age a little bit (e.g., kitchen faucet, shower), but that adds to the charm.

Everything was fantastic. Great neighborhood, comfy, great staff, big rooms. No downside.

Overall an excellent experience. Hotel staff very helpful and firendly. Perfectly situated in DC for access to Georgetown (e.g., Blues Alley, Martins Tavern, etc.). Short walk to Whole Foods, Trader Joes. Full working kitchen. The only negatives are parking cost/access, and an annoying mechanical problem in the suite that was not resolved. Have stayed at the River Inn before, and would do so again if I find myself back in the DC area.

Was in the neighborhood of the Kennedy Center so it was a perfect spot. We could walk there.

This is an excellent location for visiting DC with easy access to the Metro and to Georgetown. The room was very comfortable and the staff was very welcoming and responsive. The restaurant on the property is very good. Definitely a good value and we’ll be back!

The suite was large and spacious, allowing us to relax and unwind in a space that felt like our own living room. It was walking distance to the Kennedy center and an uber drive to other locations we wanted to visit. Very clean, helpful & courteous staff. Would stay there again.

Yazminen was fabulous. The room was perfect. Having a kitchen made it very practical. The staff is friendly and very helpful. This hotel is in a perfect location. It is walking distance to the historical monuments, the Kennedy theater, and great cafes and restaurants.

Every single member of staff was amazing and friendly. From check in to cleaning crew to valet people. Really, really great experience.

The staff - front desk and bellhop - were more than friendly and helpful. They truly made us feel welcomed. The full kitchen was handy and the spacious room design made for a very comfortable stay. Location (near Foggy Bottom Metro, Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods & a few restaurants) was convenient.

I had a really nice stay Great location staff and amenities It was perfect for me I had some noisy neighbors in the halls on my last night but the hotel cannot control that. Inside the room is very quiet other that night Can’t wait to come again

It is a well-located hotel which is close to many restaurants and stores. Supermarkets such as Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods Market are within a 5-minute walk. Georgetown, with its beautiful historical houses, many tourist attractions such as The Exorcist Steps and hundreds of stores, restaurants and cafes, is only a 5-minute walk from the hotel. There is a street parking option in which you can park your car at night and on the weekends. On business days, you can park your two hours. The neighborhood is quite calm and extremely safe. The rooms are spacious and clean. The kitchenette in the room was very practical and well-equipped. Front desk employees Najwah and Jasmine, the vale whose name is Saif and the director Brandie Davis were great helpers during my stay. The communication, responsiveness and service quality are the highest. During my stay, I had to extend my stay, and since there was no availability, I had to change the hotel and I stayed in another hotel for another five days. During these five days, they kept my Amazon orders at the Front Desk, and every evening for three days, I stopped by The River Inn, and the hotel staff continued to help me and handed over my orders to me without showing any sign of boredom. I recommend The River Inn Hotel to everyone.

Beautiful quiet area that was still walkable and well located for transport. We were very thankful to receive an upgrade and really appreciated the larger room. Staff were very friendly
