This place was absolutely amazing! We drank cheap booze and listened to live music in the saloon! Ate a delicious Breakfast and Dinner at the restaurant! Enjoyed a really cool star party with the professional astronomy and telescope! Swam in the grotto pool! Relaxed in our jacuzzi tub!! It was a really good experience! Two minor problems. 1) everything was a little hard to find and the maps provided weren't very helpful at all... but we managed. 2) I think the bed in the DaVinci suite was broken. It had a massive divot in the left side of the bed which made sleep difficult and the AC vent was blowing DIRECTLY on me all night. So my choices were a) be hot, or b) be freezing with a sore throat. I mean, a better map, a new mattress, and relocate it out of the direct vent of the AC and you would have the most perfect place on earth! It was charming! Rustic! Very old world and historic looking! Great food! Great service! Great amenities! Great location! Just an absolute Gem!! Me and my wife are 100% comming back as soon as we can!! I cannot stress enough how super cool this place was!

This isn't for everybody but if you are looking for something unique and maybe even a little quirky Trois Estates is that and more. The owner treats you like family and nothing is too much trouble. We checked in late...they opened the bar and even serenaded us. We'll be back.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was wonderful. Room was comfortable and unique. It was very quiet and relaxing stay. Over all a very beautiful place to stay, we would highly recommend. Wasn't a problem for us but it might be for some. Room doors are old European style doors and do not seal very good. Large opening around the bottoms, which could let in small critters. The doors let out a lot of AC in summer and I would imagine heat during the winter.

The property has so much potential since it offers a vary of activities but there was no sense of direction. We found ourselves walking aimlessly, would be great to have signs around. Staffing was extremely nice and helpful! Breakfast was delicious and the scenery was breathtaking. The Grotto pool was pretty and intimate, very unique.

Out tv didn’t work, and the lighting wasn’t good. The shower was terrible. The bed was really comfortable, but the comforter was coming apart and falling out of the side. The door doesn’t seal, so lots of bugs got in the room. However the staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner is a very sweet lady that did her best to help us get the tv to work, and when she couldn’t, she let us drink for free all night at the saloon. And the first night we got there we went up on the observation deck and it was magical! You could see the entire Milky Way, every star in the sky!

This property has absolutely gorgeous views. It has an old world Spanish Mexican mix feel you would not expect in hill country. The main limiting factor is there is not any lunch or dinner options Sunday through Thursday. You would need to drive into town or be very creative with the food supplies you bring with you.

The first room they put us in was so small you could bareky walk around the bed, the shower handle was broken, and no microwave as promised. Thrn they "upgraded" us to another foom which was bigger, but... the roof had a leak in it, bathroom sink dud not drain, and woke up to ants and a scorpion in the sink. The "free" morning breakfast was the sane thing daily, and on Friday & Saturday evenings only 1 choice to choose from.for the $35 per person buffet. Definitely very deceiving online. This was our honeymoon and was very disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Trois Estate. Friendly staff, comfortable room with fridge and microwave, delicious breakfast buffet. Don't expect a 5 star resort and you will love the rustic and unique property. It's like a little Spanish village. The two pools were both great and a comfortable temperature. I'd guess around 83 degrees. Missed out on the Star Party on Friday and the Saloon as we only stayed Wednesday and Thursday. Beautiful views from the deck. Highly recommend.

The trois estate was a great get away spot. It is an older style villa but everything in the room worked including the A/C. We stayed in the bridal suite and it was comfy, clean and the bed was comfortable. The views out here are amazing and quiet. We stayed Monday through Wednesday and may have been some of the only guests. The breakfast was good but limited which is understandable if you’re unsure how many guests will be attending and how much they will consume. The grotto was not heated when we checked it however we did not bother to try and call someone to see if there was a way to rectify this issue since we seemed to be the only ones here and didn’t think it was necessary. The room did have a mini fridge and microwave. The restaurant and bar were not open but a short trip into Fredericksburg will get you anything you want for food and drinks. However some shops and restaurants don’t open until Wednesday or Thursday as the town caters to weekend visitors. Overall the Trois estate is a beautiful quiet retreat. A great way to disconnect from the world and reconnect with your loved one that you bring with you. WiFi was available in our room and I had cellular service in most spots(AT&T). Location was great for us to hike enchanted rock and then return to our room and clean up before heading into town.

Upon arrival we checked in and the lady at the desk spoke no English. We had to point to envelope with our name on it. This was at 3:30pm. We got to our room and I noticed it was not the room we booked. We booked an executive suite and the room given was in a lodge. Major downgrade. I went back to desk no one in site. I tried calling number on paper given in our welcome envelope no answer no call back or entire stay. I tried going to front desk multiple times no one was there though out the weekend. I didn’t see any staff at all until evening time for dinner which wash one lady that spoke no English. Finally someone appeared just in time to collect payment and disappeared again before I could inquire of room mix up. This place is very outdated, dirty and in need of major repairs. If you’re looking for BnB experience this is not it! They leave free breakfast out buffet style cold and not great. Leaving a bus bin to put your dish in when done. There is a saloon that opens at 7:30 one man in the bar very nice. Boy very limited drinks and very ran down . Glasses still had lipstick on them. If I could include photos I would. Outdated window unit in room barely working, big wind fan to help keep cool. Furniture broken down smelly. Glass edges exposed on broken furniture. Lamp broken in bathroom for light. Hold in bath mats. My advice for over $700 find another property. Very misleading website and photos! trash bins over flowing, trash and debri all over grounds. Several cats
