I was only expecting a change in bed linen if is even once out of the seven nights

Service suck everything was horrible is really nasty place there no way I would recommend for anyone

This was truly a guest house with shared common areas and a tiny room of your own. Everything provided was clean and comfortable, however sharing a bathroom has its drawbacks. It was also very quiet. The subway was only 2 blocks away. Jay was very responsive to our requests.

Nice property. It is the ultimate guest house. Not your traditional hotel at all. Theres a shared bathroom amongst guest. But the unit is clean, nice, and the other guests were very respectful.

Great room and comfortable bed, clean amenities and kitchen facilities.

The apartment was nice and the cleaning people do a wonderful job. Bed was comfortable. The issue we had was the family staying there had no consideration for others. left the joint/communal bathroom a horrid mess of hair and toothpaste etc- kids running up and down the apartment all morning- my husband went to stay on someone's couch on until that family checked out- and he came back to stay the last night... It probably would have been a 5-star review if the situation was not so upsetting - late flight in and no sleep due to inconsiderate shared guests... the place itself is great for the price and should have been a lovely stay. The host did not offer any refund consideration for the issues had.

I cut it short only spent one night and made arrangements for the second night. The place was loud there was a loud party in the neighborhood that did not stop until early morning. Other guests were also very loud. And at around 3:00 am someone tried to open my door. That was the end of it for me! They requested no shoes from the outside, but the place was not tidy and spotless. The bed had only sheets no blankets or comforter; they provided 2 bath towels, but no hand towels. Even at Holiday Inn you receive three times better and cleaner service.

I loved the Island, and the New Kitcken, the room was pleasant and cool, nice neighbors, quiet neighborhood.

Host was very nice, the property was quite clean, easy to find and easy to get into. A very enjoyable experience. I’ll definitely be booking it for future NY visits.

The place was great! I stayed in my bedroom mostly, when I wasn't there, but there was lots of privacy while still having people around (other guests). I enjoyed my room thoroughly; comfy bed, large mirror to get ready in, desk to put my stuff on, large TV, my own closet, a good window with a cute, typical view of Brooklyn. I would love to stay here again. Everything was very clean and organized at all times!

Affordable and friendly. A very good deal for the money-wise traveler.

This place was simply fantastic

I'm afraid that leaving this review will make it impossible for me to ever find availability here again because the best-kept secret of Brooklyn will be out. This is the BEST PLACE TO STAY IN BROOKLYN hands down! I go to Brooklyn often and if you want to experience the real and raw feeling of Brooklyn, you need to stay in a neighborhood, not a touristy part of Brooklyn. Here are some reasons to look no further when booking your hotel. 1. The Guest House is SUPER CHARMING and CLEAN!!! 2. The on-site manager (Jay) is incredibly kind and accommodating. 3. The price is ridiculously low considering the quality is high. 4. The 2 train is literally around the block and goes directly into the main part of Brooklyn in no time. Not to mention that you are so centrally located that you are only 20 min from anywhere in Brooklyn. 5. Unlike many hostel-style accommodations, this is the classiest I've ever stayed at. You will feel like you are at home. 6. Oh and there's laundry. 7. I am coming back to Brooklyn and immediately booked my room for the next time. As I said, this is the best-kept secret in Brooklyn. I hope they will always have availability for me :)
