The property was perfect. I loved the early evening wine tastings. I appreciated the free shuttle to and from town. And I absolutely loved that the hotel is located directly across from the Wine Train Check in station.

I was turned away from the Westin and forced to stay at Napa River Terrance Inn. Hotels.com nor the Westin informed me that my room was no longer available until I attempted to check in. I was informed upon arrival about my room no longer being available, then only given the option to stay at River Terrace In . No communication with Hotels.Com or Westin about this was communicated before driving hours to this hotel. Westin offered vouchers for the bar and breakfast but both were closed when my partner and I tried to get breakfast and a drink. Overall, unprofessional and unacceptable the way this booking happened. I left with no resolution. Never got the complimentary breakfast or drinks for being denied my room I booked a well I. Advance.

First morning a gas powerwasher parked in front of my room at full speed for hours. Had to change rooms. Second room smelled bad of curry. 3 room was a charm. Valet asked me to move my car instead of parking it for me.

Nearly $400 per night for a “motel” room with old furniture and desk chair so big you could not walk across the tiny room seemed a lot, Limited dining menu and slow or no service. Convenient location. Nice parking attendants and house keepers.

The property itself is nice. It could do with an update but decent condition. The service is not great though. I asked for water to be sent to the room and it never showed up. We went to get breakfast in their restaurant and after waiting for 40 minutes they took our order. About 20 mins after that our food arrived. We had a toddler with us and it was a really tough wait. They need to do better with their service.

No one at hotel and they put me and my kids the farthest room in the corner of the property. Insane walk. Bartender was rude, didn’t mention automatic gratuity. Asked for certain pasta got something completely wrong. Massive noodles that were for my 1 year old. Menu was very minimal. It was day before Christmas but they didn’t make it feel special. Felt more like everyone was gone for Christmas and no one was at hotel to run it. Rooms are outdated. No breakfast. We will be looking elsewhere when it comes time to plan out next years Family Christmas vacation!
