What Guests Say About Their Stay

This is honestly one of the cutest places I’ve ever stayed. The attention to detail is amazing with their home grown passion fruit desserts, their fresh baked kitchen sink cookies, the smores they hand out to guests for the multiple fire pits, they also provide oranges so you can squeeze your own juice. Staff was amazing. They have corn hole, hammocks, free bikes and a game room. It’s just a stones throw from the beach. I can’t wait to go back!

Geneva and Leo were awesome and always ready to help us with anything we needed or asked about. We've been here 3 times and will be back. So many restaurants and breweries are so close most of it walking distance.

We previously lived in Ventura and come in for a quick couples date night so we are very familiar with the area. The location and access to the beach, restaurants, entertainment is great. The park has a nostalgic feel with thoughtful touches such as the corn hole set, community fire pit, complimentary coffee and s’mores, water bottles and coffee creamer in the fridge, selection of tea leaves, sleeping/eye masks on the pillows, private patios and beach comber bike access (wish we knew about the free bike usage beforehand). Our only complaint is there were no utensils/plates and the old school coffee pot in the room was a hassle. Why have a BBQ pit with nothing to put your food on? Bright back leftover from a local eatery, better cut up that steak before you bring it back to your trailer. Other than that, the location is great and the feel is wonderful.

The train was noisy but not much you can do about that. Wish someone had explained how the A/C and fans worked before the last day. Convenient location to beach and downtown. You have done a remarkable job restoring your trailers.

Loved our one night stay at Waypoint. Our trailer was immaculate, much cleaner than most hotels we have stayed at. We loved all the little comfort items that came with our stay. Eye masks, gourmet teas and coffees, toiletries. And the fresh squeezed orange juice was the cherry on top.

Love everything about this place! Ready to convince my family & friends to rent out multiple spots this summer. Free bikes, coffee, water, s’mores, hot cocoa, & more! We stayed in trailer #6 and loved it - it was spacious, has a nice bathroom, and in a great location on the lot with good shade.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ventura Waypoint. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The trailers are so cozy and the park and amenities are wonderful. It is within walking distance of the crossway to the beach, and to many downtown attractions. The extras really make you feel taken care of, from the s'mores to the fresh squeezed orange juice and homemade cookies.

Lovely stay and hope to return, staff very friendly and nice additional touches. If you can choose a trailer in the circle although all are nice. Train does not run at night and always a cool ocean breeze. Can walk to town and lots of great places to eat within walking distance. Great location for cyclists to hop on the Ventura or Ojai trail. Amazingly restored and wonderful history on each unique camper.

A neat alternative to a hotel or Airbnb. Basically glamping in the city. The vintage trailers have been nicely restored and maintained. Fire pits get lit at night and nice hanging by fire with wine and not having to do any of the work. The property is located close to train tracks and at first I was worried but trains stop around 9pm.
