Clean room not even dust under bed. Yes i always check under the bed. I look for bugs. And i was very empressed. I have cleaned as a second job. So i know what to look for. My only concern was the water wasn't that hot. But i would definitely stay again. I even told my siblings they go to maine to chexk it out..

Quick drive to Bar Harbor, Acadia park, and a Walmart near by.
Management on the property even late. Was able to help me access my room when key card was not working. Found that helpful.

My boyfriend and our friends traveled up the East Coast for a fun vacation. Part of our trip was to go to Bar Harbor ME. During our search for a place to stay we came across White Birches. We thought it would be a nice place to stay outside of Bar Harbor. We were not impressed. It was clean and the bed was comfortable; however, the faucet in the tub leaked and you had to muscle it on and off, there was no mirror in the sleeping area, and the rooms need to be updated. I would not stay here again.

This was a nice affordable option for us to visit Acadia. They are making updates to the property. The room was clean and beds comfy. We liked the fridge and microwave in the room so we could make some of our meals. Walmart was a 4 minute drive away. Staff was friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and it was pretty quiet while we were there.

We truly enjoyed our stay at White Birches. The receptionist was very friendly and had coffee and snacks available every day we were there. The room was exceptionally clean and neat. Just what a person needs when he is traveling. The room itself was also very quiet. Not much traffic, etc. Our dog loved all the grass in front of the units. I also noted that those with dogs cleaned up after their dogs went to the potty. It would have been nice to have available places to easily plug in our phones, computers, etc. to charge them. We had to make a trip to Walmart to buy the plugs we needed to do that.

I wish they had a sitting table. I bring my own food when traveling and there was no where to sit with a table. Other than that it was pretty good

Nice room with refrigerator and microwave. There was no carpet and gravel and dirt from our shoes got on the floor. If you are there longer than a day or two, get a cheap broom. There is a coffee maker but no refill on coffee supply so we used it to make hot water and used Starbuck via packets. Also, there is no laundry area.
