We stay here every time we go to Southport. It’s so close to everything and is very affordable.

i coudnt use the pool i was under construction but other than that everything looks fine.

The room was clean and comfortable. Maintenance should take a look at the electronics attached to the lamps and to the bathroom sink faucet. Breakfast was limited, but tasty. I would stay here again.

We were there during a severe rain storm. Water leaked in around the window. Carpet was saturated on 50% of the floor. Had to wear shoes. Our room was not the only one. Part of the first floor flooded. New building. Reason for leakage around windows????

We checked in around 10 pm and was exhausted so did not feel like dealing with the hassle of complaining. The shower curtain had mold on it, the bathroom floor had not been mopped, the couch is the room had stains on it which may you feel like it was dirty. The floor just outside the elevator on the 3rd floor and a spot that was obvious someone had spilled something. It was there Friday evening and still there Sunday when we checked out. The check in staff was really friendly but it was very obvious that management had no desire to have a clean hotel.

We have stayed twice at this facility. The first we were given an unclean room in which the lights, air conditioner, fridge and phone were non functional.After expressing our displeasure we were switched to a more preferable room. The second time we stayed the room was clean, everything in working order, although the toilet seat was unattached to the unit. The breakfasts offered were dispensed cleanly and were replenished when needed. We did not take advantage of the pool or fitness room, but each appeared to be well maintained. We will stay again.

Shower arrangement floods the entire bathroom floor and make tiles very slippery - a substantial hazard (put towels on floor to avoid falling and this worked despite them being entirely soaked with water)

property needs an update- website advertised a pool and spa, but there was no spa and pool was not open-hotel had signage for pool and spa but I was told spa had been taken out several years ago and it was expensive to change signage so they covered with white paper after I arrived-breakfast was very sparse

My wife and I have stayed here many times in the past. Overall, I feel like the continental breakfast needs a lot of attention. It would be nice to look at it as an option for a quick meal but it is far from appealing.
