This is the 2nd time I've stayed at the Yotel Hotel in Times Square and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff were super friendly and the room amazing. The only critique I have is there should be a bar fridge in the room but I understand why there is not because of the space. Other than that I had a fantastic stay!

I’ve stayed at yotel once before and had a good experience. This time around was different. First off the A/C did not work in the room however they did promptly fix it which was nice. But what bothered me the most is I paid for late check out (2pm) and was woken up at 11am on the dot by the cleaning lady coming into my room. Then after I explained to her I had late check out she stormed off and said that I had to call the front desk and work it out. Not my problem there should be communication between cleaning staff and front desk on who has late check out and who doesn’t. The worst part was I was in the ER until 6am so I only ended up getting around 4 hours of sleep due to the cleaning staff waking me up.

The hotel itself was beautiful but everything was very poor our AC wasn’t working had to get someone to reset it for it to work , the bed recliner didn’t work and did absolutely nothing about it whatever , the blanket itself is very thin , the bathroom has no door the floor paint had all came off as we entered the room there was hair and dust all over the sink the shower floor had puddles with hair strains of hair . If you’re not ready to spend money to get a genuine hotel better look somewhere else you won’t get a door to a bathroom , microwave, fridge , desk or space.

Went to purchase late check out at the front desk and while doing so another guest came down and said “the room you just checked us in has other guest belongings everywhere”. The front desk guy didn’t even apologize. He just told them I’ll get you another room. (I know, should’ve been a red flag) Then come MY late check out at 2pm($80 extra) they decide to lock me out of my room at 11am anyways. Why pay extra when you’re going to lock me out of my room where all my belongings are. THEN the rude front desk lady had the audacity to tell me “well what do you want me to do about it” NOT LOCK ME OUT OF THE ROOM I PAID EXTRA TO STAY IN LONGER. Will not stay here again..

Upon arrival , the Kiosk wasn’t working . I had a very special event and had to wait in a very long line to check in 2 hours past the time . I was late for my event and it was terribly chaotic . Once to the counter, the girl was helpful and very kind and did amazing but I’ve stayed there a lot and never experienced this . Several people were working in lobby but had no clue what was going on not bothered to give directive. At the very least you could have offered a complimentary cocktail or something . I am also still waiting for my incidental charges to fall off my account over two weeks

While serviceable and affordable, the hotel shows a lot of wear and tear with worn finishes on almost every surface from bed frames to light switches - not dirty, just well used. The self-check-in is a good idea when it works, but adds to an already small staffed check-in desk when it doesn’t. The valet/concierge guys in the lobby were outstanding - friendly, helpful, and eager to please. I’m not sure why they call it Times Square at all, it’s in Hells Kitchen.

Stayed three nights we were out all days and put the please clean sign on our room and not once did house keeping come.
Lounge and workspace area staff were rude.
Rooms are dated.
The high point was the reception and check in service was really good.
I would not stay here again not worth the money .

The amenities, housekeeping, location and staff are 5 stars and top notch but I have to maintenance and property condition 2 stars due to outlets coming out the walls. Paint overspray and cracks in the walls. Looks like they should keep their employees and staff but absolutely fire the owners.

New paint job in the room would be great. The windowsill looked as if it hasn’t been swiped in years. The bathroom floor had rust around the tiles. For the price of breakfast there should be a larger selection. I was Not satisfied with the bfast options. All in all I don’t think I’ll return. I could have stepped outside and purchase an enjoyable bfast for $23. I asked the front desk for complimentary water upon my check in at 1:30am and was told I can purchase using the vending machine on the 4th floor. Quite disappointing after a long day of traveling.

Area was very nice and quiet. About 15 mins walking from Times Square. Security on property was very nice! Easy check in and out.
Only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom door. Bathroom shower door wouldn’t close, so water would slip everywhere. Bed was very comfy!
