What's wrong wifi free nothing

Good location. Beautiful garden, nice room, good parking space, great staff. Breakfast included is great.

Very good experience... Stay there every time I'm in Punta Del Eate

Need to figure out a better system for access in/out the front door in the very early morning hours than a note that says "call this number" to get in/out.

They seemed very confused when we arrived and did not have our reservation. I had to find and show the reservation multiple times throughout the trip to different people which was awkward and inconvenient. At arrival there was zero attempt to engage with us and give us any information about the area, city, and tranportaion. We felt like we were an inconvenience to them. The breakfast was good and there are great resturuants within walking distance. The pool is great also. There were some bugs on the bed when we arrived and the pillows are very bad. The hotel has a rustic feel which is nice but there is no elevator. We rented a scooter which was helpful to get around the city and explore areas. They asked us to pay a day before checkout which we found strange as well and we had to find the reservation again to give them the price. Seems like they did not have experience booking with hotles.com I would look to stay somewhere else next I am in the area. Good luck.

Good location. Nice people. Good basic hotel. The breakfast was outstanding. Nice pool.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, parking is a challenge and the rooms need some heavy duty face lift. The stuff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast area is good and the goodies are ok. Do no expect scrambled eggs...not the deal, some mini-sandwiches that are not bad and fruit. Clean and neat. The pool is nice. It has wifi. The shower heads need to be replaced. The room is way too modest but fairly saying the priced is good for Punta at this time. If some minor details are fixed like redoing the rooms is not bad.

Everything about this hotel is charming but for the very small rooms. As the high rise towers and modern shopping environment closes in on this very cute little hotel more and more it reflects another time. Although not as modern as the newer and pricier hotels the Camelot is very well maintained and very clean. The breakfast buffet is prepared and cooked by a young woman who turns out marvelous cakes and pastries for those who enjoy that sort of thing with their breakfast. The staff including the industrious cleaning ladies were very attentive and friendly. The small swimming pool was well maintained and clean and the adjacent yard and garden suitable for kids to play. The rooms are very small and really best for sleeping only and the bathrooms were showing their age but once again very clean. People do smoke in this hotel however and that was it's biggest drawback. When we arrived the smell of smoke was pervasive in the hallway and on our complaint were moved into a room behind the office. During our two day stay we only smelled smoke that one time. You really do need a car here though because the hotel lies between Punte del Este and Maldonado. There are a couple of parilla's and bars only a 5 minute walk away however and better priced than the downtown restaurants. All in all this was a reasonable value 3 star in Uruguay's most popular resorts.

Hotel is very confortable, in convenient location, and has very friendly staff. Breakfast is very good. I feel stay at home ! I want to go back !!

Really pretty hotel with lovely grounds - a really nice pool area with plenty of loungers, surrounded by greenery, and surrounding lawns to picnic, BBQ or just lounge in. Rooms were smallish but perfectly formed - after having read other reviews I was expecting the rooms to be cramped & the bathroom tiny, but that was just not the case - perfectly good size. Management was amazing - excellent service, very helpful, and great with flexibility on late checkout. Breakfast buffet was also extensive and, for those who are there to relax, served until very late. Served in a really nice first floor space with balconies for al fresco breakfast should you wish. A bit of a walk into the main town on the peninsula & taxis are expensive, but perfectly doable, and the place itself is so nice you might just want to relax there most of the time anyway. Plus the environs are actually a lot nicer than in town. Very good supermarket & shopping centre with fast food eats just round the corner too. Nice empty beach 10 minutes walk away. Better than any hotel we saw in the main town - would recommend to anyone.

The hotel is OK, but not great. The staff was helpful and courteous. The price was OK for the Oct/Nov season when I was there. The place is clean, the rooms are somewhat small, the beds are small and narrow (typical of non-US hotels). The bathroom was tight, ie: doors that can not fully open, showers that are narrow, etc. They did have free internet access when it worked. It was out of commission for a few days. The hotel was not able to get the phone company to make it work (not the hotel's fault) and on just one day there was no water for a while (again, not the hotel's fault), when the water came on again, it was brown.... parking is a bit of an issue at times.......Last criticism is that the hotel charges you 10% additional on the bill if you use a credit card.....the pool, hot tub, bar and grounds were actually very nice.......I would stay there again.......

Boas condições de hospedagem e atendimento simpático.Já conhecíamos o hotel e o proprietário.As roupas de cama e toalhas podiam ser modernizadas e o preço na baixa temporada,menor.Voltaremos.

Quarto bom, café da manhã simples. Todos os atendentes muito atenciosos. Fica muito perto do shopping , mercado.. bem localizado.

Pasé muy bien, buena atención, muy rico y abundante el desayuno

Nos fue bárbaro, tanto la atención como el hotel en general es excelente. En cuanto a la habitación, la misma es acorde en tamaño, con los elementos básicos, desestancase tanto cama como ducha. Cuenta con un parque enorme y muy bien cuidado, para disfrutar del aire libre sin necesidad de salir del hotel, allí se puede descansar o almorzar bajo los arboles con todas las comodidades. También cuenta con una enorme piscina, con diferentes alturas para disfrutar toda la familia. El desayuno super completo. Se destaca la amabilidad y en especial la limpieza. El punto débil la conexión WIFI, aunque a veces es mejor estar un poco desconectado.

Muy buena estadia. Mucha amabilidad por parte de laa personas que alli trabajan. Dispuestos a ayudar. Muy lindo el establecimiento, la pileta, el jacuzzi, el area verde. Cama muy confortable.

experiência tenebrosa. tivemos nossa reserva cancelada, e a pessoa que nos atendeu foi extremamente grossa e mal educada. não deu a menor importância e disse que não podia fazer nada. Nos deixou falando sozinhos várias vezes e mesmo eu chorando não ofereceu nem um copo de água. Nem se querer sugeriu utilizar o telefone para nos ajudar. Praticamente nos colocou para fora do hotel. Disse que não era problema dela se nós só reservamos 2 diárias e que ela só aceita 4 diárias. quando eu disse que eu ia chamar a polícia ela riu e disse que não fariam nada. Mesmo sabendo que eramos de outro país e que não teríamos onde ficar por a ocupação da cidade estar com 98% de ocupação. Não deu a menor importância e assistência. DESCASO TOTAL.

Tudo muito bom. Localização muito boa na boulevard gourmet com varias opçoes de almoço e jantar e da pra ir para o shopping a pé

Hotel bem localizado com área verde, piscina e churrasqueira. O café é bom, quartos bem organizados, banheiro um pouco pequeno, mas nada que comprometa a estadia. Atendimento de qualidade e prestativo. Recomendo!!!!!

O local tem uma boa localização, mas o apartamento é pequeno e apertado, principalmente o banheiro. Os móveis são antigos, o chão ainda usa carpete. Mas o pior foi a agua quente ter acabado durante o banho, segundo o atendente porque o reservatório é individual por quarto e pequeno.
