What a gem. We came here late in the evening, directly from the airport and thought perhaps we’d come to just a house. It truly is a neighborhood estate. As if it was in an Uruguayan architectural digest. 1. Location: about an 11 minute walk to the shops and restaurants and beachfront or a three minute drive. It’s also very close to the airport, but just far enough away that you feel you don’t feel or hear the airport noise. Great restaurants and little shops everything from the traditional Fredo to Garcia to Abra and a crêpe shop. 2. The grounds are spacious as are the rooms. The design is beautiful. 3. Staff are kind and professional. 4. I absolutely love their drapes and want to do the same thing at my home. 5. We have already booked our return for the night before we are leaving. 6. It feels like an old library, which it probably was given the name. There’s lots of common spaces that are just beautiful. 7. I don’t know about the eco-friendliness. There’s probably a lot more they could do. The breakfast is just a simple little Buffay. I wish they had had avocado and papaya. I wish they had had nondairy milk. We did just head to town. I went to the place that I think is named obra . It is a bar at night and more of a coffee place in the day and I had a wonderful avocado toast. They had lots of options with indoor and outdoor seating. It was pet friendly as well.

We had a fantastic stay at Le Bibló. I hat a gorgeous house, the furnishings felt like a luxury home. The staff was wonderful, really made us feel welcome as if we were in our own vacation home. I highly recommend it for the area as well, very safe and great shops and restaurants to walk to.

the property is amazing, great service and well located, although during my stay they have had an event every single night, without communicated this with me, unfortunately I had a room on the ground floor is I was able to hear every single conversation from everyone at the event, aside from the loud party music that was ongoing in the background. all by all the hotel is amazing, just that you must make sure you are aware of their events and do not get the ground floor room near the lobby.

We had hope this hotel was going to be very nice and a great experience. But it was NOT. The hotel is super old and in bad shape. My room did not have a working shower the WHOLE time I was there. I told reception from day one, and they said a plumber will look into it. I was there for 5 days and the plumber never came, I had to use another room's shower. Total nightmare. There is only ONE staff member for the entire hotel, so nothing gets done or resolved. Location is not great, there is nowhere to walk to, so you definitely need a car if you stay here. But why would stay here anyway. Pictures on website are nice, but hotel is far from that. DON'T stay here.

We arrived and the host was shocked to see us; he hadn't been notified by hotels.com that we were coming. I double checked my confirmation email and he explained that he gets terrible service from the entire Expedia family of sites. As a gold member I could easily access a Hotels.com rep on thephone who told me their system was down and asked that I call later on. I was prepared for the worst yet, since there was a room available that night, we were accommodated very well given the circumstances. I was very concerned that we might be charged a different rate but this appears not to be the case. The hotel itself? It's great, like guesting in a private country club. The neighborhood is quite elegant.
