Nice boutique hotel in the heart of Hanoi. Location is very convenient as its near to everywhere but it could get noisy in the evenings. Nice and helpful front desk team but sadly they didn’t recognize my Expedia Platinum status and late check out wasn’t granted. Tiny spa downstairs but the service is second to none! Suit was nice and super clean, I would definitely come back on my next visit.

Everyone is so welcoming!!! The hotel itself located at the prime location near the lake. Tons of restaurants and spa right beside it. Breakfast was excellent. Excellent hospitality!

Great overall experience! Grace, Carmellia and the rest of the concierge staff really made my stay extra special. They always greeted my parents and me when we went out adventuring and welcomed us "home" when we finally returned. Combine that with amazing breakfast food, an amazing swimming pool and a great room put this hotel in my record books.

Très bel hôtel dans le meilleur quartier pour visiter Hanoi. Vous verrez tout le décor rafiné de cet hôtel dans les photos de hôtels.com. Situé dans le quartier central et très sécure de Hanoi il y est agréable de visiter à pied. De plus, il est vraiment un hôtel 5 étoiles, le personnel est toujours là pour vous aider. Exemple, il vous offre une boisson de bienvenue en arrivant et une personne prend le temps de tout vous expliquer. Un jour de pluie, il nous même offert un parapluie et un thé chaud en revenant. Service d’aide de première classe, et merci aussi à Thomas de toujours s’assurer de notre confort et de nous aider dans notre séjour.

We recently stayed at Grand Hotel du Lac Hanoi, and it was such a memorable experience from start to finish. The front desk team and manager were incredibly professional, warm, and welcoming during our stay. One of the highlights of our stay was the fantastic service from the breakfast team who were so attentive and made sure we were taken care of. Dinner at Ding Doong was equally impressive. Both the food and service exceeded our expectations, creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. The location of the hotel is ideal as it is right in the heart of Hanoi, yet in a calmer pocket where it’s much easier to cross the roads (a huge plus if you’ve been to Hanoi before!). It’s close to everything, but you still get a sense of calm and comfort when you return at the end of the day. As we checked out, we were surprised with a thoughtful parting gift, which left such a positive final impression. It’s the kind of personal touch that really makes a difference.
