River Gate Apartment Saigon HCMC

Thank you to Ms Kathy and Mr Goal for a wonderful stay, I needed a place with good wifi and quiet to work and this was the perfect place. Spotlessly clean and they moved me to a larger place as they had to do some work on the original apartment, thank you. ten to 15 minute walk along the river to Ben Tahn and downtown, lots of facilities available locally. I definitely recommend them for your stay. Communication with them was very good and check in was quick and efficient. Great views of the river and HCMC. Once again, thank you.

Perfect place for me and my family to stay. We were 6 of us. I was worried for late arrival check-in. But one of the staff was waiting for us for check-in at 11pm. He also showed around the apartment and provided information. Having washing machine and laundry liquid was a plus for us after traveling for a week. The apartment was clean and equipped with necessary stuff to make our stay better. Definitely recommended for family.

Stayed 5 days. First 2 days unit was not what was promised. Washing machine only - very dusty & dirty. No Pool use even though was promised. Hardly any dishes pots and pens in the unit. The attendant took out from another unit

Plenty of room, nice & clean , well appointed. Loved being able to do our washing while we stayed as well.

We did not get the River Gate apartment, A week before our stay, the owner contacted us and said they had overbooked and relocated us to Millennium Apartment which is about 200m further. The en-suite toilet drainage was so so bad of smell which we can’t use. The smell even spreading through the bedrooms with the doors closed. Its was an unpleasant stayed.

A serviced apartment, the property manager Goal was willing to drop everything and drive a few hours earlier to this district just to lock up my bags at 11am. Honest and trustworthy, he speaks Vietnamese and English fluently. Went above and beyond.. This apartment is furnished with a bed, couch, TV, iron & board, a washing machine, a kitchen with fridges, utensils and (Vietnamese) condiments, and a bathroom furnished with shampoo, conditioner, and towels. The size of a hotel room, it has a great view of the city from across the Saigon River. Its location is recently developed and expats are common. The receptionists do speak English--but they won't be able to help you much, because the apartment is owned and managed by a third party (Goal). The security guards likely speak Vietnamese only but are friendly enough to help if asked. As of the time of this writing, there's a Kai Coffee House, a VinMart (convenience store), and a 7-11--enough to get you by, if you don't want to travel far for the night. It is much more affordable than a comparable hotel and I likely will book this place again the next time I stay in Saigon--because as hard as I'm trying, I can't stay anything bad. It's a great place to stay.

Area was not very quiet, but I don't think anywhere in HCMC is quiet. The room was pretty basic. More of a stay at friends than hotel kind of place. Was clean though and being on the 16th floor meant it wasn't too noisy.

Excellent amenities, great service. Staff went above and beyond to help, offering great local knowledge.

The room was overall fine, though could have been cleaner. However the swimming pool was a disappointment with much to much chlorine while not being very pleasant.

Clean modern comfortable would stay again good security local supermarkets in same block coffee shop and swimming pool all good for the stay

Good facilities, clean and spacious making our stay with 7 people convenient and restful. Location is very good making shopping and access to restaurant easy.

I enjoyed my stay so much that I was tempted to extend. I will definitely come back. I'm very happy I stayed here rather than a hotel. I consider this place my second home now. Ms. Tran and her assistant made sure everything was excellent. I could not have asked for a more pleasant and lovely person to rent from, she is the best, her assistant also did an awesome job taking care of the day to day duties and went above and beyond anything I could have expected of him. The security and facilities staff were also excellent and nice. The coffee shop downstairs is excellent and has good WIFI. The lobby WIFI is quite good as well. In addition to the coffee shop there are three stores, one of which is 7-11. The pool is seven stories up and is gorgeous with a view. Plenty of places to eat near there. The Apartment is perfect, you can cook, do laundry etc, it is fully contained with a decent size refigerator and freezer, microwave in addition to the stove top I hinted at above. Widescreen TV comes with it which is plenty large for this size room. There is at least one English movie channel if you speak English. Kai Coffee downstairs is really nice and has very good everything. If you have never had Vietnamese Black Coffee, you are missing out. Even when made into Americano it was still potent and full of rich flavor. The water in the building seems plenty safe but you can always drink bottled water which is available everywhere. I drank plenty of smoothies from Kai Coffee.

Not a hotel, but a serviced apartment. I prefer this over a hotel anyday. It was amazing with a kitchen to cook and wash our own clothes! Amazing view as well. I will stay here from now on anytime I come back to saigon.

best place to stay while traveling in ho chi minh city!!

Excellent experience there. The administrator, Goal, was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was in excellent condition, very clean and easy access to public transportation. The facilities and amenities (swimming pool, gym, BBQ area) were easily accesible and well maintained. Beautiful views of Saigon by night. Lots of convenience stores in the building with very friendly, English-speaking staff. I'd definitely go back there.

Just make sure you go to lobby 2 to enter. The host and her employee were very helpful and easy to community via WhatsApp.
