Amazing. Staff were very friendly and the room was spacious, clean and had a great view. The only negative is that parking is limited, we had to park a short walk away.

Quite expensive, but the location is perfect for walking into town, and easy from the train station. Parking at £25 a day feels a little pricey. Overall great quality, comfortable rooms and breakfast very good too.

Not very many tea and coffee making condiments. Limited milk and sugar. Late night room service ordered from late night menu and took over an hour to arrive. Then only half of the food arrived. Felt like we’re pestering staff.

Room that got allocated was not what I book. Staff were very good and moved to room we originally booked. Still very dated, not great condition. Definitely not worth the money. And as for the breakfast the next morning, that was terrible. Everything was cold. Won’t be using this hotel again.

We were lucky to be able to access our room at 12pm, which was fabulous. Breakfast was delicious. Plenty of choice, good quality and as much as you wanted. Will definitely go back. Thank you!

Only one member of staff during check in (it was late so okay) and took half an hour to check in because of queues. TV reception was poor. Carpet in room was tired and needed cleaning. Bedding and bathroom were clean though

Our stay was good. Staff are friendly. Room is clean and breakfast is amazing. Improvement areas are: 1) city view is not maximised as the windows are not clean 2) smart tv is not reliable, tried to watch a movie in YT and internet was slow.

I was shocked at how downhill this hotel has got from the last time I stayed there was 10 years ago and definitely not the same , travel lodge rooms is just as good as what this hotel was

Amazing festive stay with the family. Lovely room. Staff so friendly and helpful. Upgraded to executive club - which was fantastic. Such a special weekend away. Would definitely rebook.

For a 4 star hotel the room was of quite a basic standard. Although the room and the bathroom were very spacious, the decor was dated, the bedlinen basic, the lighting was poor and the thermostat didn't work properly so the room was quite cold. There were no blankets in the room so I had to ask for one and I was given another duvet instead. The tea/coffee making facilities were also very basic indeed.
