Since I'd been feeling sore for days, I decided to get a voucher at Yufuku. It also happened to be close to home. The initial chat suggested booking in advance, but it turned out the WhatsApp number had been hacked. So, I decided to go straight there. Thankfully, we were able to be served.
When we first arrived, we chose a salt foot soak, followed by oil therapy and the massage we wanted. After that, we were asked to come in, remove our shoes, and soak our feet. Then, we entered the room, removed all our clothes, including our bras, leaving us with just our underwear. This was followed by a full-body massage (I opted for the 90-minute Yufuku signature massage). The therapist provided a good massage, not too hard but still quite soothing.
Unfortunately, because the room was only curtained, other guests could hear each other coming in and out, especially if they were having a conversation. It could be a bit distracting (it wasn't soundproof).
The therapist seemed unwell (slightly flu-like, coughing), and the room was air-conditioned and tightly closed. I was a bit worried about getting infected (I forgot whether she was wearing a mask or not).
The service before and after the therapy was very professional. The only downside was the room's comfort (because the booths weren't soundproof). Furthermore, after the therapy, clients were given warm ginger and snacks. It was very relaxing and quite filling. I took the treatment at Yufuku Hublife, so the after-therapy drinks and snacks were served outside.
Overall, I recommend it if you're feeling sore and want a hot stone massage. I'd like to try the Yufuku lymphatic massage later. A 90-minute treatment costs Rp 200,000 (with a TT voucher), a relatively affordable price for good service.
