Booking tickets is easy. I booked my Shinkansen Green Car ticket two months in advance, worried that the Mount Fuji view seats would be sold out during the cherry blossom season. I received the Shinkansen QR code one month before departure. On the departure date, just scan the QR code at the JR Shinkansen Station entrance and board. Medium-sized suitcases (24") can be stored in the compartment above the seat. You can enjoy a view of Mount Fuji from the train window.

The process of purchasing tickets is very simple and helpful. We can use reserved seats very comfortably and get to Tokyo in a very nice way.

The Tokyo Station was very big and crowded but it is easy to look at the sign that will.guide you to the shinkansen track. Better arrived 1 hour befor depart if you are a first timer like me.

The fastest train and from Osaka to Tokyo only 2 hours 30 minutes.

Redeeming the QR code at the ticket gate was very easy—no need to exchange anything at the counter, just scan and go. The signs in the station are also very clear, so finding the correct boarding gate was simple. If you have a reserved seat, I recommend choosing a window seat. That way, you’ll have the chance to enjoy the scenery along the way—including the possibility of seeing Mt. Fuji on a clear day. It really makes the journey more enjoyable. Fast, comfortable, and efficient—a great way to travel between the cities.
