This stay could have been great. The hotel failed to inform residents until Saturday afternoon that we would have leave by 7:30am Sunday or after 1:30pm as a marathon was to be set up and no way to get our vehicle out after 7:30am. The hotel did not offer an extended check-out time and just told me I can keep my luggage down stairs and wait till 1:30pm? The hotel knew about this event and should have posted as I would have chose another hotel but that is why they didn't.

The staff were fantastic and the spa was top class.

Enjoyed our stay in the club rooms. Daily housekeeping was excellent and all hotel staff that we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to key sites and attractions.

We really enjoyed our stay. Ideal place as bus stops right outside. The room was clean and tidy. We had a twin bedded room. The beds were very comfortable and the hotel quiet. Only one problem, the shower was very slippery! The staff were pleasant and helpful. The club lounge was fantastic, possibly the best I have been to. Staff great, food and drinks top class. As the swimming pool was unavailable I booked the hydro at a discounted price. I really enjoyed relaxing in the rooftop hydro. I also went into the other heated rooms then finished in the relaxation room.

Beautiful location with a stunning view of Edinburgh Castle. My only complaint is I did pay for the upgraded view, only to arrive to find a tent for the “Ladyboys of Bangkok” running show as my view just below the castle. just a big pink and black, ugly thing, obscuring what would’ve been a beautiful view. I wish somebody would have mentioned that to me and I wouldn’t have paid for the upgraded view. That said, incredibly helpful and Service oriented staff. Really A+ on the arrival experience. Really appreciated the lounge and atmosphere, right in the city center. Easy access to so much.

Loved our stay at the Sheraton! The room was lovely with a huge super comfortable bed! The spa was fab and staff friendly from start to finish.

World class

Lovely hotel in a good spot for walking into town. All staff helpful and friendly. Slightly annoying that the shower head was broken after paying top price for the room. However we received a discount on checkout and an apology.

Couldn't fault our stay. Perfect location. Great room, facilities and breakfast.

Staff were very attentive from check in to check out and made the stay that much more enjoyable. My locker in the spa wouldn’t open and within a couple of minutes Simone was there with a master key.

Lovely hotel, and room was spot on, but sadly when we popped into bar for lunch (on a weekday), even though the bar was not busy no one acknowledged we were there, so after 10 mins or so awaiting for table service we went to the bar next door to the hotel where we were greeted on arrival and the service was great (all bar one). A real shame as the hotel lost out on revenue for something so simple.

This property is fantastic! A bit of a walk (20 mins) to all the touristy activities, but worth it for the rooms and the castle views! The club level was worth it for the breakfast, drinks, and snacks whenever.

Loved my snack and drink in the club lounge after a day of sightseeing.

The hotel was nice, clean and friendly staff in the centre of the city.

There was no locks at the bathroom door and the air condition system was not working properly. We had two rooms and their views were terrible.

We had a great stay at the Sheraton! The location is excellent—close to everything and very convenient. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. We also really enjoyed the breakfast—great variety and quality. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Overall, a very pleasant experience. I would definitely stay here again!
