I stayed at Wyndham during March Break with my kids, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
First, the room lighting was completely inadequate—my kids found it dark and scary, which made it difficult for them to feel comfortable. On top of that, the towels were poorly stocked, and I had to call the front desk to request more. Even worse, the room phone barely worked—the volume was so low that I couldn’t hear anything during conversations.
The pool was another major issue—the water was visibly dirty, which was extremely concerning for a family-friendly hotel. Additionally, the microwave in our room didn’t work, and when I brought this up to the manager on duty, I was told that microwaves were only allocated to guests who booked falls-view rooms. This was unacceptable—I have kids, and I needed to warm their food and bottles, but there was no accommodation for this basic necessity.
To make matters worse, when I requested an early departure for Friday, the manager told me I could check out immediately but only gave me 15 minutes to pack up and leave. In the rush, I ended up leaving behind my charger and other belongings.
Overall, this stay was a huge letdown. For a well-known hotel brand, I expected much better service and basic amenities to be available without a hassle. I would not recommend staying here, especially for families.
