Had a hiccup first day in hotel with water leaking on floor from AC but staff was able to move us to another room next day. Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful and were very prompt with anything we needed. Hotel is next to tram line which is very convenient for taking around places like French Quarter and other streets. Only downside was the hot tub was way too hot for myself to get into but overall would definitely stay here again.

Parking

Large plexiglass window above door with bright outside hallway light shining in all night. Reported to security and front desk with no avail. Had to find

Smoke alarm had low battery chirp, instead of relacing the battery they took the alarm out. Staff was more interested in talking on their phone than helping. Towel rack fell off the wall, you could see it had been "fixed" many times before. An airplane toilet had more room than the one in our room.

My room had outside exit to a private, quiet, courtyard that seemed safe, private. Yet was walking distance to the quarter.

People were beyond helpful! We are from Jersey and the way the staff guided us through the last few days was great!

They have a great little pool and a bunch of nice courtyards!

Couches in the main lobby were stained. No one in the lobby on arrival, parking was confusing. Cup stains on the table in the room but other than that it was fairly clean. Elevators not working,

Location is perfect for home base while visiting. Close to restaurants, street cars, and shopping. Location is safe and secure. Rooms are nice and quiet.

Greet Customer Service!

The property staff was cool.but the location is horrible and the rooms was not updated nor was they cleaned properly. Plus the first room i got the main outlet didnt work then the next room smelled like mildew as if there was a bad leak or something, it was trash & a vape pen left inside the drawers from the previous tenants along with the floor veneer was coming up.

Maison St. Charles was a great place to stay, especially for the value. While there was a problem with our bathroom, the employees quickly helped and then moved us to a new room. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The pool is great, it is walking distance to the French Quarter, and right on the streetcar line. I would definitely stay here again.

This looks more like a road side motel. Room buildings are no connected to lobby. Doors and bathrooms are worn-down. The do not have elevators so you have to bring luggage up the stairs to floors 2 & 3. Don’t expect much service.
