Highly recommend. Close to everything; Tromsø’s city center, shops, many restaurants, sites of interest, 20 minutes from the airport. The dinner is a plus, especially in such an expensive city. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Amazing stay... staff was great! We didn't realize we would be fed for breakfast and dinner... plus a daily snack! The location was perfect with accessibility to everything and the view was beautiful!

Ship like atmosphere!

Good location by the harbour, shops and restaurants. However for the price paid, had expected a better room with amenities like water kettle etc. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good but dinner a bit disappointing. Overall a reasonable hotel.

This hotel’s main attraction is its location and excellent staff. They provide meals (breakfast, tea and dinner - not sure about lunch). Some may find that an attraction. For us only breakfast mattered and that was good. The hotel itself seriously needs an upgrade. The beds are small and mattress uncomfortable, the carpets are worn and grotty and there is no storage nor closets. There are other better options including other Clarion hotels in the vicinity.

Conveniently situated hotel overlooking the harbour. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants, tour operators and sites of interest. Staff are very friendly and efficient. I’d happily stay here again!

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. They didn't have breakfast but did have a late afternoon tea and cake time. Dinner had a choice of salads and a couple different things like soup, meats, and cheeses. It was located near lots of shops and places to eat. It was also walking distance to all the excursion meeting spots. However, they did not have housekeeping services. You could change out for clean towels, but the rooms were not cleaned, or the bedding changed during your stay. They did not have a shuttle bus to and from the airport, but the local transportation is very good, we would recommend taking a taxi to a from the airport as the airport express buses are just about the same price as a taxi and the taxi will get you there much faster. We would stay there again

Excellent service by friendly staff. Choice of food excellent and location with views couldn’t be better.

We arrived - the staff were amazing. We went to our room. Total disappointment when opening the door. The room had grubby carpet. Small bathroom and only shower gel no hair products. Worse there is no storage - we had to live out of our suitcase literally for 4 days. We asked to change rooms to one without carpet as my daughter has allergies and they were immediately triggered by the carpet. This was facilitated extremely efficiently. The replacement room was exactly the same but without carpet and if you don’t pay to Upgrade to overlook the bins!!!! The room wasn’t cleaned the 4 nights we were there - unless you pay extra. Sheets not being changed is fine but 4 nights with the same tiny towels was not great. The breakfast is fine. We only ate dinner there once as it was cold and not very tasty. The afternoon cake is the same every day. The saving grace for the hotel is the staff and the location.

Super friendly and helpful service staff and breakfast spread and dinner spread provided were excellent . Afternoon tea Fika was decent with cakes with tea and coffee. Location was overlooking the sea and window had a great view . Everyone here speaks and understand English
