We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful and situated in a perfect location for access to the Acropolis and the Parthenon as well as for exploring Athens on foot. The staff was incredible and so helpful and the breakfast served daily at the hotel was plentiful and delicious!! I highly recommend the Herodion. You won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful hotel located in the heart of Athens. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops but the benefit is the amazing view of the Acropolis from the rooftop. The rooftop was my favorite location. Staff at the bar very nice. Always accommodating. Checkin was easy and the hotel has 3 restaurants. One for breakfast which is great. One for dinner downstairs and the rooftop. Overall great place to stay.

We loved our stay at the Herodion Hotel. The location is outstanding, with easy access to the Acropolis and many of Athens’ most iconic sights. The staff was welcoming, professional, and always willing to help, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. My only minor complaint would be the size of the room. To be fair, we knew the room dimensions before booking, but knowing the numbers on paper and living in the space for several days are two different things. While the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, it did feel a bit tight for an extended stay. That said, the excellent service, great amenities, and fantastic location more than made up for it. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Athens.

What a beautiful hotel and close to the historical areas, we walked everyday!! The staff had forgotten that my husband and I requested a king size bed when we booked however, when we arrived there were two twin size beds in our room. There was no electric outlet in the bathroom for my hair tools. The one that was attached to the built in hair dryer was worthless! We had to request an extension cord to stretch all the way into the bathroom from the hallway. There was no room service. Breakfast was fantastic!!!

Ideal location for the most popular sights in Athens. The breakfast buffet is so plentiful, the best we have ever seen. The staff is very attentive, helpful and fluent in English.

Fantastic location near the Acropolis & its museum. Wonderful view of it from the rooftop too. Close to fun little shops, wonderful restaurants and about a mile from a park for relaxing walks. Comfortable room with a GREAT shower. Delicious breakfast buffet and restaurant also. Definitely would stay here again.

Cozy and comfortable rooms, somewhat on the smaller end. The buffet breakfast was delicious with a great selection. The location is excellent — close to acropolis, Plaka, central market, national garden, modern shops, farmers market.

Stayed in the Art House apartment for our honeymoon and it was amazing! It is about a 2 minute walk to the main hotel for breakfast and other amenities and a 10-15 minute walk to the Plaka district/Acropolis. The rooftop bar at the hotel had an amazing Acropolis view. Will stay here again if we ever come back to Athens!

Breakfast was excellent. All fresh ingredients and served hot where appropriate. The fresh orange juice was really good.

This delightful hotel is perfectly situated just around the corner from the new Acropolis Museum. The staff is polite and helpful, the food in the dining room is delicious (especially the varied soups), and when I return to Greece, this is definitely going to be my base. Kudos to the staff!

This hotel is in the heart of Athens and a super close walk to everything. As you walk into the hotel, you are greeted by friendly staff and check in was super easy. The rooms were clean and easy to access. However, due to the change of the seasons, the room was quite warm. The breakfast buffet was delicious and showcased the popular foods of Greece. Airport transportation was efficient and the company the hotel provided was professional and friendly as well. This hotel had hotubs on their roof with an amazing view of the Acropolis and Parthenon!

The hotel is nice, the rooms are nice and the amenities and location are good. The toilet seats are flimsy thin plastic and the rooms thermostat cannot be adjusted with air and heat at your comfort. We only had heat and it was hot in the rooms and the a/c wasn't an option. Location is good and staff is friendly.
