Hotel itself was lovely, modern and clean. The staff were lovely and helpful. The room , booked for a family of 4 was very cramped and not really accommodating for 4. A family of 3 yes, but way too small for 4. We had a double bed, single sofa bed and mattress on the floor all in a standard double room. Room wasn’t very modern in comparison to the hotel. Separate toilet from bathroom which is always great. However, not really a comfortable stay for 4 , very cramped and uncomfortable.

Nice rooms. Clean. Modern. They allows dogs and the room was immaculate for him too.

this hotel seems recently updated and the interiors and rooms are really nice in this hotel class. Rooms look nice and are well-equipped and clean (and quiet). The exteriors could use a bit of paint to make it look more friendly and less like a dead building in a dead zone. The exterior might dissuade people to stay there, while it is really a nice, modern hotel on the edge of Bordeaux that I will remember next time I'm in the area.

Although we checked in online, we had to spend time at the front desk answering all kinds of useless questions. Key was inactivated at some point, did not get an explanation as to why, only that it could have been "demagnetized"..

We stayed in Novotel Bordeaux Lac for 5 days and had a lovely time! Our room was comfortable and clean, the food at the hotel restaurant was very nice, the staff kind and helpful and our 9 year old son also enjoyed the games room which had an XBox and a bar football. Highly recommended!

Not the best of Novotels but perfectly adequate

Service in the restaurant and quality of food very poor for both breakfast and dinner.

Booked an Executive room which was meant to have a queen bed, we had a double bed and the room was very poor the bathroom was grubby the water drained too slowly when showering so ended up with a bath half full of water when showering. Not a very good experience. The downstairs check in area was very good though very clean and modern which made the room feel more of a let down.

Clean with good breakfast. Free parking is great. The hotel is nesting a shopping center with many tasty restaurant

I was very pleasantly surprised. I did not have high expectations so I was surprised to see a decent pool, ping-pong, foosball, Xbox, and a nice restaurant/bar. I would happily stay there again.

The property is very nice, suitable for travellers with a car. There's a convenient tram line to town center next door. Breakfast is fantastic. Staff is polite, english speaking and accomodating. All systems work well -- A/C, water pressure, sink draining. Comfortable beds. Rooms size is adequate. Excellent choice for staying in Bordeaux with good value for the money.
